NigeriaFalade Oluwagbenga Segun faladesegun@yahoo.com Birthday: 6th of may 1981 Education: currently an undergraduate (final year student) of covenant university in Nigeria studying business administration Occupation: student Please describe your vision of a world that works for everyone. I believe that the change currently needed in the developing and under developed nations of the world can be achieved by renewing and reorienting the minds of the youth. This can be done through investments in social capital and social capabilities. The world today is a global village; information and technology are tools I believe can be used to effect the change we require. How ever the greatest task lies in my ability and dependence on God to help youths see how empowering themselves as individuals can result in a better world for other people around them. What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today? How do you feel these problems could best be solved? Today the world requires an ever increasing number of youths who will be duly empowered through self discovery and learning to take up leadership roles in their societies. The notion that only political leaders can bring change to the world has to be thrown away. Lastly, people constitute the greatest asset of any nation; the change required can only be made through the empowerment of youth leaders in all spheres of life and a change in the attitude of current leaders which should ultimately rub-on the people as a whole to create a better world. Profile My goal is to be successful in every aspect of my personal, academic, spiritual, financial and relational life. My personal success will eventually become a tool to be of service to other people. I want to be a relevant personality, bringing change, hope and empowerment to individuals.
