What is your vision of a world that works for everyone?
A world free of racism, a world filled with people with love, integrity,
equality and truth. There’s so much lip service paid to a lot of issues at
the global level. I would like to lead leaders in the capacity I am able to.
The internet has provided some level playing ground. Globalization has also
played a major role. The major changes will be effected when we take a
serious look at the major points I stated above.
What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today?
Unbalanced leadership values, inequality in the comity of nations,
illiteracy and poverty. The developed nations are feeding off the developing
nations with different pseudo colonial organizations like the International
Monetary fund, the World Bank and United Nations. The developing nations are
loaned money by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank under the
auspices of the G-8 ‘great eight’ nations and then given stiff policies to
stifle the growth of their economies like devaluation of currencies,
educational policies and other means by which these economies are not only
stagnant but also retardant. The internet has truly flattened the world.
How do you feel these problems could best be solved?
Love for your fellow man. Tell the truth at all times no matter the cost.
Transparency is the bane of development of effective leaders. Race,
nationality and sex should not be the reason why people should be elected or
selected into positions in organizations. Skills set, leadership style and
quality should be the major considerations. Systems of governance should not
also be dumped on civilizations because what is good for the goose might not
be good for the gander. Different climates, different cultures and different
styles of governance and policies because governance is an extension of the
culture of the people.

I am interested in building an African based global brand. I dream of a
world devoid of racism, poverty and inequality of the chances available for
success. I’m an avid reader. My favourite books are Built To Last by Jim
Collins and Titan by Ron Chernow. My goal in life is to show my God given
gifts in everything I do by pouring my heart into it. I’m presently in China
on business. My favourite film is The Pursuit of Happyness by Will Smith-
the story of Chris Gardener. While in school, I participated in bringing a
world class speaker and pastors- Pastors Matthew Ashimolowo and Poju Oyemade.
I was the leader of my group during my Industrial Training year in the
private sector. I was also the Chairman of the Corporate Integration
Committee in my final year in the University. I also recieved the award of
“who to do business with in 5 years” in the final get together party upon
graduation. I am going to receive an award later this month (May 2009) in
the University by an International Information Technology Association. I am
a technology buff. I like automated ways of doing things. I am single, I am
the first born in a family of two boys. I enjoy jazz and soul music. I like
challenges because I’m sure I’ll get a solution. I’m committed to global
excellence because people around the world believe Nigerians to be dubious
people. I am an ambassador for my country. I like to seek opportunities and
partnerships that can make them happen. I have memberships with the
following organizations- Information Security Community (30,000+ Members),
Open Security Exchange Group, Networked Video Surveillance systems (NVSS)-
CCTV, NVR- Video Analytics, Security Industry Group, On Startups - The
Community For Entrepreneurs, Executive Suite, I am also an associate member
of ExecuNet. I’m seeking new and better ways to do things. I’m working
towards building my personal brand. My next phase is to provide renewable
energy on a large scale to people in my country even though we are one of
the world’s largest producers of crude oil. Green is the future. I seek a
better world where an individual will not be judged by the colour of his
skin, his tribe or nationality but by the good he has to offer the world.
The world at present is where it is because some leaders have sacrificed
their convenience to give to others what they thought were the ideals of a
better world. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion and patterns should
not be forced on anyone as civilization is defined by the party concerned.
Let’s try to keep an open mind. Let us be flexible when dealing with other
human beings and most especially- let’s respect them, their point of view
and their distinctiveness.
