What experiences have you had working in intercultural settings? What do you see as the most pressing problems facing the world today? How do you feel these problems could best be solved? Profile: As a sociologist, my main area of interest consists of Social Policies analysis and advice for human development and social welfare. Some specific fields of particular interest are, among others, international migration and its socio-economic, cultural and political implications, especially on developing economies. I am particularly concerned of the brain drain in Africa when skilled professionals leave the continent together with the youth and active people who constitute the human resources as the primary asset for sustainable development of the continent. I am also concerned with armed conflicts which destroy the basic infrastructures and disrupt socio-economic and political systems in affected areas. Refugees and IDPs as victims of these violent conflicts and human rights abuse are also of major concern as far as African stability and sustainable development is concerned. I enjoy traveling and have traveled a lot in Africa and Europe. My hobbies are: reading books with interesting stories, watching interesting TV programs on social, cultural or historical issues; I like listening to music. I play tennis. Books Completed:
