Assessment by Joel Ebute...

As A Man Thinketh
Assessment by Joel Ebute (Nigeria)

Part One - Review of Contents

Succeeding in life is getting harder and harder. If you are determining to succeed in life, then there is no question - you need to think right - you need it now.
The small volume of James Allen is actually a book that brought discovery and perception of the truth that 'they themselves are makers of themselves' by the virtue of the thoughts which they choose and encourage.

The effect of thought on circumstance cannot be overemphasized, so also thought and character. Make your thought right and have a perfect destiny. Good thoughts bear good fruits while bad thoughts bear bad fruits. As the reaper of his own harvest, man learns both of suffering and bliss. Circumstance does not make the man it reveals him to himself. Men are anxious to improve their circumstance, but are unwilling to improve themselves: they therefore remain bound. The man whose sole object is to acquire wealth must be prepared to make great personal sacrifice before he can accomplish his object; Very important to know that, man's prayers and wishes are only gratified and answered when they harmonized with his thought and action. Men imagine that thoughts can be kept secret, but cannot because it is rapidly crystallized into habits, and habits solidify into circumstance. The body is the saviour of the mind, it obeys the operation of the mind whether they be deliberately chosen or automatically expressed.

It is interesting to know that, change of diet will not help a man who will not change his thought. When a man makes his thoughts pure, he no longer desire impure food. The body is the servant of the mind; the effect of thoughts on Health and Body cannot be kept aside. If you would perfect your body then guard your mind.
Have a recap of this, Thought and purpose, until thought is linked with purpose there is no intelligent accomplishment. With the majority the bark of thought is allowed to drift upon the ocean of life. A man should conceive of a legitimate purpose in his heart, and set out to accomplish it. He should make this purpose the centralizing point of his thought. It may take the form of a spiritual ideal. Those who are not prepared for the apprehension of a great purpose, should fix the thought upon the faultless performance of their duty, no matter how insignificant their task may appear.

To put away aimlessness and weakness and to begin to think with purpose is to enter the rank of those strong ones who only recognize failure as one of the pathways to attainment. Having conceived of his purpose, a man should mentally make out a straight pathway to its achievements, looking neither to the right nor left. Note that thoughts allied fearlessly to purpose become creative force. He who knows this is ready to become something higher and stronger than a bundle of weaving thoughts and fluctuating sensation. He who does this has become the conscious and intelligent wielder of his mental powers.

Think about the thought factor in achievement. All that man achieves and all that he fails to archive is the direct result of his own and no another man's. His condition is also his own, and not another man's. As he thinks, so is he; as he continues to think, so he remains.

A man can only rise, conquer and archive by lifting his thoughts. He can only remain weak, abject and miserable by refusing to lift up his thoughts. Before a man can archive anything, even worldly things, he must lift his thoughts above slavish animal indulgence. Not having begun to manfully control his thoughts, he is not in a position to control affairs and to adopt serious responsibilities. He is not fit to act independently and stand-alone. But to him is limited only by the thought that he chooses.

Remember not to forget vision and ideals. The dreamers are the saviours of the world. Humanity cannot forget its dreamers; it cannot let his ideals fade and die; it knows them as the reality, which it shall one day see and know. He who cherishes a beautiful vision, lofty ideals in his heart, will one day realize it. Dream lofty dream, and as you dream so shall it become. Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day be your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil. Dreams are the seedlings of realities. In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results. The strength of the effort is the measure of the result. The vision that you glorify in your mind, the ideals that you enthrone in your heart. This you will build your life by this you will become.

To round up this section, calmness of mind is one or the beautiful jewels of wisdom. Its process is an indication of ripened experience, and of more of thought. The calm man, having learned how to govern himself, knows how to adopt himself to others. The strong, calm man is always loved and revered. Self-control is strength, right thought is mastery. Calmness is the power. Say unto your heart. 'Peace. Be Still'.

Part 2 - Personal Impact

The Personal impact and practical values I got from the literature cannot be over explained. Time is life for me, there is no more time wasting. I could remember what the scripture say in Mark 11: 24 'therefore I say unto you, what thing so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye shall receive them, and ye shall have them.' That brought me to the understanding that I am literally what I think, my character being is the complete sum of all my thought. It was a big lesson to me when I read that I am the master of my thought, the molder of my character, and the maker and shaper of my condition, environment and my destiny, this I am confident of myself because I am the master of my thoughts. I now know that by the right choice and true application of thought, I ascend to the divine perfection and by the abuse and wrong application of thought I descend below the beast. I personally chose to be a right thinker. It is good to know that only by much searching and mining are gold and diamonds obtain, and man can find every truth connected with his being, if he will dig deep into the mine of his soul. That I am the maker of my character, the molder of my life and the builder of my destiny makes me more serious about my life. I also believe that, ìHe that seeketh findeth and him that knocketh it shall be openedî for only by patience, practice, and ceaseless importunity can a man enter the door of the temple of knowledge.

After reading the book, I was brought to clarity that wisdom works better than strength. Understanding gives deeper insight to knowledge than trial and error would do. The understanding of what I learn will increase my knowledge. The application of my acquired knowledge makes me to act with wisdom. The act of wisdom leads to diligence. I need wisdom in goal setting, I realize that wisdom is knowing what to do, skill is knowing how to do it and success is doing it. Thought and character are one, and as character can only manifest and discover itself through environment and circumstance. So interesting to understand that every man is where he is by the law of his being; the thought, which he has built into his character, have brought him there. Wisdom leads to success. Proper application of wisdom in my planning, preparation and projections for further achievement will take me to apex of success, in my thought I seek for Gods wisdom to excel in my endeavors.

To my understanding, success is the ability to get along with some people and ahead of others. Circumstance does not make a man; but it reveals him to himself. Men do not attract that which they want but that which they are. I realized that circumstance are, however so complicated, thought is so deeply rooted and the conditions of happiness vary so vastly with individuals that a man's entire soul condition can not be judged by another from the external aspect of his life alone.
The write-up build an understanding in me that good thought and action never produce bad result and that suffering is always the effect of wrong thought in some direction. It is an indication that the individual is out of harmony with self, with the law of his being. The circumstance, which a man encounters with suffering is the result of his own mental inharmony. It is stated that a man is not rightly conditioned until he is happy. Men are to be conceived of a legitimate purpose in their heart, and set out to accomplish it. I will make this purpose the centralizing point of my thought. Thomas Henry Huxly said 'the rung of a ladder was never meant to rest upon, but only to hold a man's foot enough to enable him to put the other somewhat higher' there I will keep moving until I'll get to the apex. It's so sweet to know that the proof of desire is the pursuit. Purpose without pursuit at last may amount to daydreaming. Pursuit gives values to purpose. If purpose will materialize or become a reality, I must pursue it. Purpose is the transformation force that makes set goals achievable. In short, nothing works by its self except somebody makes it work, I now understood that a man can only rise, conquer and archive by lifting up his thought. He can only remain weak, abject and miserably by refusing to lift up his thought. For these reason my thoughts are lifted up, I know that before I can archive anything, I must lift up my thoughts above slavish animal indulgence, having at the back of my mind that there can be no progress nor achievement withought sacrifice. The higher I lift up my thoughts, the greater my success will be and more blessed and ending will be my achievement. Until thought is liked with purpose, there is no accomplishment.

Summary
At this concluding level, one noble right God has given to man is the power to choose. Every human has the power of choice from possible alternative available in his domain. God is gracious and magnanimous in endowing all. The rich and the poor, the great and small, men and women with power to individually divide on what choice to make in any situation. As a man thinks in his heart so is he. A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thought.
One thing to now is that, choice are made every day: between good and bad, life and death, success and failure et cetra. It is you as a person who has to decide in your thoughts and chose what you want to become in life. A looser or a winner, a victim or a victor and / or a failure or a success.

Where there is progress there most be achievement. Intellectual achievements are the result of thought concentrated to the search for knowledge. A man may rise to high success in the world, even to lofty attitudes in the spiritual realm, and again descends in to weakness and wretchedness by allowing arrogant selfish and corrupt thoughts to take possession of him. He who would accomplish little needs sacrifice little; he who archives much, scarifieses much, and he who would attain highly must sacrifice greatly. By the right choice and true application of thoughts, man ascends to the divine perfection. By the abuse and wrong application of thought he descends below the level of the beast. Man is the maker and master of his thoughts.

Man can find every truth connected with his being, if he digs deep into the mine of his soul, that he is the maker of his character, the molder of his life and the builder of his destiny. Let a man cease from his sinful thoughts, and the entire world will be soften toward him, and be ready to help him. The world is the mans kaleidoscope and the varying combinations of colours which at every success moment it present to the man his exquisitely adjusted picture of his ever moving thoughts.

The thought and character are one, and as character can only manifest and discover itself through environment and circumstance, the outer conditions of a persons life will always be found to be harmoniously related to his inner state. Every man is where he is by the law of his being; the thought, which he has built into his character, have brought him there. The choice that is made today determines the prospect of tomorrow. Man has to now that his thoughts are the compass that directs his way to success in life.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Assessment by Joel Ebute (Nigeria)

Part One - Contents
The book written by Richard Bach 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' is a material that has leadership qualities. Part one of the material brought to limelight that life is playing out according to the divine script. Noting happens to any body by accident. There is too much depressing and negative thinking in the air. The reason is not far fetched. Many people have nothing worth living for. They have no dream, concrete expectation of a desired future; so they drift, other people live this live for them.
Jonathan Livingston, was different from other seagulls, he focused his attention on practice, I want to believe he understood that practice make perfect. He realizes at the early that he has a dream for a goal and he did paid the prize to achieve the goal.

Great men are not born. Great men are made. You also can be Great in Life.
Jonathan Livingston love to fly more than anything else, he made up his mind not to go by the way of simplest facts of flight as done or loved by other gulls.
Jonathan the gull forgot the fact that there's difference in creation and tried all his best to be like other gulls but it could not work, he thought he was a poor limited seagull. He made up his ways into success by spending the rest of his time, days a lone. What a great prize being paid.

Jonathan's persistence and being focused to learn to be perfect gave him the courage to walk to the elder gull (Chiang) who, it was said, was soon to be moving beyond the world. Livingston was told that he does not need faith to fly, but all he need is to understand flying. He got the training he needed from Chiang his teacher; Jonathan was encouraged to keep working on love. Jonathan seagull inspite of the lonely past forgave and forgot and demonstrated love to other gulls. Jonathan Seagull was born to be an instructor, he taught other gulls (students) how to fly having an experienced person. Every hour Jonathan was there at the side of each students (gulls), demonstrating, suggesting, pressing and giving his students how to about flying. What a dedicated entity, he is always at his duty post. Noting good come easy.

Marathon refers to a Long-distance running race, which usually requires perseverance and endurance for its completion do not just start a day. Not every one that starts marathon race continues to the send. It is common for many people to give up and fall aside. The story is the same with success race. Winners are usually those with stamina to resist every temptation to give up before reaching their goals. These are people with direction and determination to overcome all obstacle, difficulties, inconveniences and hardship. Jonathan did not give up because he knew success lies ahead and he as at the back of mind that there's still hope. Jonathan was battled ready against failure. There is always hope for he who refuse to give up.
When Jonathan was through with transferring his headship schooling, he handed over to Flecher his first student and vanished in the light. Pursue your goals valiantly, march forward to progress. Walk by faith, look beyond the present.

PART TWO - PERSONAL IMPART AND VALUES

I have come to realize that leadership as I have read from the book is not relaxing on the bed of pleasure. Great men are not born but are made it implies hardworking and discipline. A leader must have a dream and a concrete expectation of a desired future.

In life, the pattern of progress often follows a cycle of responsibility -opportunity - responsibility - and opportunity. So opportunity seldom comes to the irresponsible men and women. I have learnt no to just talk responsibility but act responsible.

I understood that, time will never wait for any one (leader). Napoleon Hill said 'do not wait; the time will never be just right'. It means I will Start where i stand and work with whatever tools I may have at my command, and better tools will be found as I go along. If I as a leader am waiting for the best time; I will never begin to do something either for myself or my community. In the management of time, an author says 'the things that matter most must never be at the mercy of the things that matter last. This that I must set my priority right and ensure that I work according to the order. If I must achieve anything in life I must start now.

I was brought to understand that, it is possible for one to be bound by certain culture and traditions which I may call yokes that declaims one's potential to leadership and success in life. As a leader the life of Jonathan Livingston seagull made me to understand the necessity of being beside, demonstrating suggesting, pressing and guiding the people you are leading.

I am convinced, courageous and confident that I can do things, I will commit all my skills to doing it, and it will be done. Nothing is impossible.

I also understood that confession brings about possession. I further realize that the power that follows words of confession are not known to many people. Now I know that my confession brings my possession. What I say about my self reflects what I believe I am.

Notwithstanding, words are weighty once spoken by mouth. Spoken words carry along the power of life and death creating or destruction, peace or war, health or sleekness, good or evil. The words I utter when I speak with my intonation and gesticulation determine the message I am passing to my hearers. As a leader kind words spoken with concern heart in emphatic intonation will give comfort to the soul, health to the body and life to the hearers.

I now realize what differentiate winners from losers on the track of success is ability to be disciplined and intelligence. Nobody plans to loose but few people persevere to win. I leant that a lot of unplanned activities will distract the attention of an undisciplined person from his duties. I must always avoid aimless visitations, unprofitable journeys and baseless discussions that have no contribution to make my life a successful one. My concentration on my work ought to be total with higher-level commitment. I will always remember that success is not a game of chance, it comes only through had labour. To be consistence demand discipline. To be committed demands diligence, thanks to institute of global leadership.

I now I realize that wishers without will is being powerless. Why? Because the mind works on information received marvelously within a short moment of time. A lot of ideas, suggestion, perceptions, imaginations, considerations and conceptualization can flash in the mind in a twinkling of an eye. Among major pleasant preoccupations is the desire for something good we want to have or become. I personally understood that teenagers express countless number of wishers in them. Period of fantasy, remember it is an experience that all teenagers passed through. Well it is good exercise to wish for great achievement in life, we must not forget the need for equal will power to accomplish our whishes. I believe, what distinguishes the achievers from the losers is the will power to work on their winches to a logical end as the seagull did. Wishes plus will equal to power.

PART 3 - Summary

Please permit me to start this way. I might not be able to give, write or compel every body to have a single outlook about the book because people are created to have different opinion. Well for me the book 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' is one of the valuable materials that could prepare one to success in life because it has a lot of encouragement in it. The book is interesting and it did add practical values to my life, now I realize I need to be discipline and hardworking in life to attain a greater height.

Furthermore, in my own words from my experience in what I read from the book I summaries it to be called the 'Milestone of Success'.

Milestone literary refers to small pillars erected on the highways to show distance from one place to the other. It is something figuratively used to indicate stages reached in life pursuit. Milestones are therefore important and must be noted as useful guide to move forward in the right direction. The book 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' is a guide that must be used to move forward to the right direction in life, it is a book that should be read by any binger that is starting the race of success.

Furthermore, I present below my summary using the word found by the acronym of MILESTONE.

Psycho-Cybernetics 2000
Joel .U. Ebute (Nigeria)

Part 1: Content Review

The content of this book (psycho-cybernetics 2000) is divided into thirteen chapters. Chapter one talked about your-self image and how it affects you. It has subtitles such as self-image: the key to your personality, six steps to success: what you’ll find in this book becomes the person you want to be were discussed in details respectively.

Chapter two has in details how to program your success mechanism with its subtitles as; correcting your programming instinct, how to change habits of failure into habits of success and beware of curbs; focus on the destination, your mind is an instrument you cannot avoid to develop.

Chapter three, is one of the topics I found too interesting “fake it till you make it: imaging your way to success”, think of theses, believing is seeing, it turns stumbling blocks into stepping stones, learn to use your right brain at play and turn your creative imagination on.

Chapter four explains things about freeing yourself from false beliefs knowing that what you believe conditions what you can do.

Chapter five talked about giving your success mechanism some slack: learning to relax. Relaxation can be used to oil your success mechanism. Relaxation: a key to reflective relearning, how to unjam your success mechanism: a few relaxation techniques.

Chapter six have in full, details about saying yes: De-stressing yourself with drug free tranquilizer. Stress is a habit one can change. Stress can be turned in to success.

Chapter seven, which I considered very important to me, discussed: live life by your own script: it has in detail how to choose and set goals.

Chapter eight talked about moving Ahead: from Goal-setting to Goal-Getting with subtitles such as, today is another day: how to overcome procrastination, the road to success: six ways to maximize your progress, when it’s time to reevaluate your goals: some practical tips and the secret is to keep moving.

Chapter nine has in stock, your success mechanism revisited: drawing a blueprint for change and knowing your psycho-cybernetics blueprint to attaining success.

Interestingly, Chapter ten brought to light the topic beyond the self-image talking about you shaping your personality for success, drawing your own picture of success and lots more.

Chapter eleven talked about heeding the danger signals: how to avoid failure knowing that frustration is the first red flag, then use the negative feedback the right way, aggressiveness: a consequence of frustration, insecurity: when you keep hitting those curbs, loneliness: lack of oneness, uncertainty: when you put yourself on the sideling, resentment: anger gone rotten, emptiness: when noting seems worthwhile.

Chapter twelve explains the topic of removing the glitches from your personality, which will unlock your real personality for success and finally, chapter thirteen has the topic making the most of psycho-cybernetics: being alive vs. living with other sub tiles as: how a healthy self-image can add years to your life how to make happiness a habit, how to keep your servomechanism well-turned, becoming a champion, becoming a master planer of your life and the magic world is infundibulum. All the chapters in this book are interesting and inspiring, I think I am one of the luckiest person to have studied this spirit elating material.

Part 2: Personal Impact and Values

It is my pleasure to discuses my views on the practical impact and personal values of one of the most important material (book) I have ever read. I came to realize that, Self-esteem is the likeliest candidate for a social vaccine, something that empowers me to live responsibly and that inoculates me against the lure of crime, violence, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, child abuse, chronic welfare dependency, and educational failure. I got to understand that Self-esteem is central to most personal and social ills plaguing country, state and local government as we drive on the roads of the new century.

It is interesting to know that self-image is the key to my personality, I talked to a lot of friends about this interesting topic and their minds where transform from what they have as their personal opinions or ideas about self-image. This self-image is my own conception of the sort of person I am. It has been built up from my own beliefs about myself. It is my self– image that prescribe my limits, for this reason I will rather archive a positive self-image the life instinct rather than the destructive instinct because both are in the capability of every man, woman and child. Since the very day I discover that I have the power to create changes in my life, my thoughts had a total redirection.

The power of this idea lies in the notion that I am capable of taking control of my self-image and programming my automatic guidance system for success. I got this by consistently applying the following steps:

I first of all understood the role imagination plays in self-perception then
I use my imagination to create image of success after which
I identify, confront and cast off false beliefs that provide negative targets for my internal guidance system.
I then decondition myself from stressful emotion responses that prevent my internal guidance from working effectively
I now then set specific goals of success for my internal guidance system
I also cultivated a specific aspect of personality that lead to success
I use my negative experience as feedback to correct my course toward my goals
I now then remove my emotional scars that inhibit my personality
I also deflect assaults on my self-esteem by responding appropriately and creatively to emotional pressures
And finally I built feelings of success in my personality.

Now I stand the ground to say self-image is the key to a better life, and the key to better life was in my hands, what a great concession. Appreciating my own worth and importance and having the character to be accountable for myself and to act responsibly towards others is a thing of ecstasy to me as a person. I can develop a self-image that will empower me to live my life effectively for as long as I life on earth. Now I believe that success is an entirely subjective concept.

It is interesting to know that, if I watch limits instead of destinations, I will bump up against limits. The conscious mind sets the vision; the sub-conscious minds role is pro-vision. I now know that, I can use craft to challenge any negative habits and replace them with new, positive habits. Any part to success is defined by mistakes and corrections. My built-in guidance system moves me towards the things I think about. I understood that, the main factor that determines the programming of my internal guidance system is my self-image. I don’t joke with that.

It is interesting to know that, my behaviour is conditioned by what I imagine to be true, and how I can change my habit by focusing my imagination. Successful people use mental imagination to create positive conditions for their successes in business, sports and the arts, at this stage I believe that I am not far from that point. Creative imagination is not something reserved for poets, the philosophers, and the inventors. For imagination sets the goal ‘picture’ which my automatic mechanism work on. I act, or fail to act, not because of ‘will’ as is so commonly believed, but because of imagination, things where changed for better.

Now I have a re-think about this: with the understanding of how the two halves of my brain operate together, I can see how reflective relearning works. When I engage my imagination, I allow my sub-conscious, right brain thoughts (image) to enter my left-brain’s conscious awareness. By creating a mental picture of the way I wish to be, I eliminate the stumbling blocks placed in my consciousness by my old, destructive self-image. With repeated practice, my subconscious mind provides agreement and movement towards the new image.

Now my feelings and actions have changed to become consistent with my new self-image with a new direction. Now I act as if I have already achieved success and my feelings, attitudes and behaviour are become consistent with actual success “fake it till you make it” what an exciting experience. I use relational thinking to challenge my false believes, I use my imagination to create new memories that will lead to positive believes, I make this new memories permanent by taking prohibitive action that is consistent with my new programming. I am a human being who deserves better than to be constrained by unreasonable fears, expectations of failure, and feelings of unworthiness, I live for today for tomorrow may never come. Thanks to IIGL.

Part 3: Summary

In summary, although I have lernt a lot from the book, notwithstanding I will share few of my understandings. The book has been so interesting to me and I must confess it would be interesting to any body that wants to read it.

Change can be a challenge at any point in anybody’s life. You may be riding a wave of self-esteem when some event sets the old I-can’t tapes whirring. New situations pop up, new people bend the direction of your life, and you have an unexpected interaction with a ‘problem person’ from you past. Suddenly your goal is clouded by self-doubt. Negative thoughts shift you this way and that. You find relaxation difficult; you react to criticism as if it where a bullet; you get discourage about the process you were feeling so please about, I will recommend that first of all is to consult the creator of heaven and earth who send his son Jesus Christ to save men from their sins having known that “the World was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and beheld his glory, the glory as of the Only-Begotten of the father, full of grace and truth.”… (Joh 1:14). The creator (Joh 1:2-3). In the strongest language he could command, the apostles inscribe the Name of Jesus on all things that are in heaven above and in the earth beneath. The iron of which the nails were made that transfixed Him to the Cross; the wood of which it was composed, the thorns, which composed His crown, all, were due to His creative fiat, in Him should we put our trust any time we run in to trouble, because He is the creator of all things including the philosophers, psychologist and the inventors of all king of electronic gadget. He is Life and Light (Joh 1:4). It pleased the father that life should reside in His human nature, as its cistern and reservoir, so that from him we should drive eternal life, communicated through faith. In his life is light for all that desire eternal life. The Word (Joh 1:1). As the words we speak reveal our character, so Jesus is the speech of the invisible God. He has uttered or declared God. The Psalmist said that the heavens declare the glory of God, and firmament showeth His handiwork to the ends of the earth, but in the fairest panorama of the starry heavens, or sunset clouds, there was never such a presentation of God in nature as we have in Jesus. He gave the love infinite, love tender, love onsought; love changeless, love rejoicing, love victorious! And this great love for us in boundless stores. God’s everlasting love! What would more. Let us give glory and homage to Him. No other greater God than this. The book (psycho-cybernetics 2000) is a remarkable one; it is a help to greater heights. Thanks to IIGL for putting me on the part to leadership.

Success Through Positive Mental Attitude
Assessment by Joel Ebute (Nigeria)

PART I -CONTENT REVIEW

This section does the content review of the main points which where most significant and meaningful to me. It has five parts with twenty-two well-detailed and explained chapters.

Part one (where the road to achievement begins)
This part of the book “success through a positive mental attitude” has the following interesting sub-topics listed as chapters, Chapter one; has a lot about “meet the most important living person”, chapter two talked about; “you can change the world”, chapter three discussed in detail “clearing the cobwebs from your thinking”, chapter four brought to limelight the title; “will you dear to explore the power of your mind”? And chapter five, which is the end of, part one talked about “ and something more. This part of the book has a lot of in built knowledge base PMA that can build men's life pattern to full success. It is interesting to know that every adversity has the seed of an equivalent or great benefit. Greatness comes to those who develop a burning desire to achieve higher goals; with PMA success is achieved and maintained. If you know what you want you can find a way to get it. Men's greatest power lies in the power of prayer.

Part two (five metal bombshells for attacking success)
This part has the following interesting sub-topics. They are listed as follows, chapter six “you've got a problem? That's good”, chapter seven “ lean to see”, chapter eight “the secret of getting things done” Those who achieve greatness employ this secret of getting things done. Make a good habit; remember you develop your habit by repetition. Chapter nine “how to motivate yourself” and chapter ten “how to motivate others”. Motivation is that which action or determines choice. Motivate yourself with PMA, having known that what the mine can do conceive and believe, the mind of man can achieve it. Hope is magic ingredient in motivating yourself and others. Don't relent in the pursuit of success, abide in the principle of success, hoping in God and he will see you through.

Part three (your key to the citadel of wealth)
It is clearly stated that a man who takes the short cut knows his destination. He knows the rough that is more direct. Read up this section and get the key to citadel of wealth. This part has the following interesting topics; is there a short cut to riches? Attract -Don't Repel - Wealth, if you don't have money use OPM, how to find satisfaction in your job, and finally Chapter fifteen “your magnificent obsession” think about this; anything in life worth having is worth working for, that which you share with others will multiply and that which you withhold will diminish.

Part four (get ready to succeed)
This part is among one of the most interesting section I loved in this book. Character can be caught and thought, what do you do when two virtues are in conflict with one another. Have you a guilt feeling? That's good. But get rid of that guilt feeling through amendments. See the list of topics discussed in this section: how to raise your energy level, you can enjoy good health and leave longer, you can attract happiness and Chapter nineteen talked about getting rid of that guilt feeling, what an interesting segment.

Part five (action please)
Remember that you alone can eliminate your real limitation when you learn and employ the art of motivation with PMA. This section has the following being discussed; now is time to test your own success quotient, awaken the sleeping giant within you and finally chapter twenty-two which talked about the amazing power of a bibliography. Think. Think with a positive mental attitude and follow through with desirable action. Finally, the highest ideal of a man is the will of God.

PART II: PERSONAL IMPACTS AND PRACTICAL VALUE
I find it pleasing to share my personal impact and practical value of this study to all creation. I am the most important living person. I have to stop and think about myself: in all the history of the world there was never anyone else exactly like me, and in all infinity of time to come, there will never be another. I am the product of my heredity, environment, and physical body, conscious and subconscious mind, experience, and particular position and direction in time and space and something more, including powers known and unknown.

I have the power to affect, use, control or harmonize with all. And I can direct my thoughts, control my emotion and ordain my destiny with Positive Mental Attitude. For I am a mind with a body, and my mind consists of dual, invisible gigantic power: the conscious and subconscious. I got a lot from my study of this material. I understood that I should not let my mental attitude make me a “has been” when I am not successful and a depression or any other unfavorable circumstance arises which cause me a loss or defeat, I will act on my self motivator, now I believe that success is achieved by those who try and maintained by those who keep trying with PMA. This is the way to avoid being crushed. I was also brought to the limelight of never to underestimate the repellent power of a negative mental attitude because it can prevent life's lucky breaks from benefiting me as an individual. It is nice knowing that I can profit by disappointment, if it is turned into inspirational dissatisfaction. I understood that, I should rearrange my attitude and convert my failure of one day into success on another. That greatness comes my way when I develop a burning desire to achieve high goals. My greatest power lies in the power of prayer.

What do you have to say about changing your world, may be you have to hear my views, I came across the 17 principles of success which set me up on the right track and heading in the right direction towards getting what I want, to achieve anything worthwhile in life, it is imperative that I apply PMA, regardless of what other success principle I apply. I realize that PMA is the catalyst, which makes any combination of success principle work to attain a worthwhile end. Have a look at those principles they are stated as follows: a positive mental attitude, definiteness of purpose, going the extra mile, accurate thinking, self discipline, the master mind, applied faith, a pleasing personality, personal initiative, enthusiasm, controlled attention, team work, learning from defeat, creative vision, budgeting time and money, maintaining sound physical and mental health and finally using cosmic habit force (universal law). As long as I live, from this day forward I can analyze my success and every failure, that is if I imprint the stated 17 success principles ineligibly in my memory. Interestingly, there is no other known method by which I may keep my mind positive. Now I believe I was born a champion and I am a very special person because I don't need to be ashamed to be a failure.

Seeing is very important in life. Some of us go through life “seeing” very little of the power and the glory around us. We do not properly filter the information that our eyes give us through the mental processes of the brain. As a result we often behold things without really seeing them at all. Now is time I have my mental vision checked. The most physical weaknesses of the eye are two opposite extremes, the nearsightedness and farsightedness. These are the majors distorted of mental visions. The person who is mentally nearsighted is apt to overlook objects and possibilities that are distant. One of my greatest lessons is to develop my nearsightedness and my farsightedness. I convert what I see into reality by action. I see other people's abilities, capacities and viewpoints to avoid overlooking a genus. My minds are opened and I will keep learning to see greater opportunities in life. I got the secret of getting things done. Now I am not scared of my own best ideas for that reason I get things done at the right time, it is better for me to do something and pay nothing, than to pay dues and do nothing. I will sow an action and reap a habit, I will sow a habit and reap character, and I will sow a character and reap a great destiny. I now believe that the burden of learning is upon the person who wants to learn, by the way of learning I will achieve anything in life that dose not violate the laws of God or right of my fellow men, now I begin study and learning the concept that can teach me how to achieve my goals. Now is the time to act. Throughout life I play a dual part in which I motivate others with the understanding of PMA and they motivate me because a letter can change a life for the better and anything in life worth working for is worth praying for!

PART III: SUMMARY
The greatest secret of success is that there is no secret. The book “Success Through Positive Mental Attitude” has dusted me out the dust of frustration, inconsistency, lack of being focus and more. The book has a lot of values, very interesting and it has practical values that could improve anybodies life for greater achievement. To be honest, this is my first time of going through a book that automatically set one on the right part or way to success, I want to recommend at this point to everybody the seventeen principles of success which has a lot of purpose inbuilt, bring about break through in life. Those seventeen principles when practicalzed can direct your thoughts in desired channel, it can crystallize your thinking, it can help you indicate your present position on the road to success, it encourages you to decide exactly where you want to be, it can or will help you measure your chances of reaching your desired destination, it can help you indicate your present ambition and other characteristics, it can also motivate you to desirable action with PMA. Now think about these, have you ever sat down to work on a definiteness of purposes for your self? Have you decided upon a definite major goal in life? Have set a time limit for reaching that goal? Do you have specific plans for achieving those goals in life? Have determine what definite benefits your goal in life will bring to you? You need to go extra mile; you need to make a habit of rendering more and more better service than you have paid for. Go for self discipline, you need to hold your tongue when angry, don't make a habit of speaking before you think, try not to lose your patience easily and don't make it a habit of allowing your emotion to overpower you reason. Importantly, make it a duty to constantly learn more about you occupation, think accurately and have faith in infinite intelligence and free you self from fear of poverty, fear of criticism, fear of ill health, fear of loss of love, fear of loss of liberty, fear of old age and fear of death, always trust in God for he is the creator of heaven and earth. I must earnestly thank The International Institute for Global Leadership for putting me on the right part to knowing and having the key to success through their institute, kudus!

Real Magic
Assessment by Joel Ebute (Nigeria)

1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you.

What is miracle about? Every body talks about miracle. We all need miracle in most areas of our life. This and more the author of this book made clear. So many important ideas where discussed in this book. Some of which are:

It is always darkest before dawn; that statement is true and accepted. The writer of this book started on a good note by saying you learn through a path called “Enlightenment through suffering”. If one expects a miracle i.e a divine intervention in a bad situation. If every thing is well, then we don't need miracle but for the fact that all is not always well, we pray for miracle in our life. From this process, definitely, we get to learn a lot of things instead of asking 'why me?' you got to have a purpose in life to get what you want. The greatest and glorious masterpiece of man is how to live with purpose. There is also power in believing. You receive what you believe.

Secondly, as human beings, we need to realize that we are spiritual beings. To get a real miracle, there must be a belief in spiritual beings i.e in your spiritual being. The place you need for creating real magic is your spiritual awakening. Another major area that I found most important to me is the contrast between spiritual and non-spiritual being. The summary of all said and done however, is that they have nothing in common beside the spiritual being, being in the physical body. Nothing however, can be gotten without fully being in the spirit been. There might be need of getting something without knowing the benefit. “Real Magic”, made the benefits of being a spiritual being very clear to its readers.

The tendency to know the benefit of something and not knowing the medium by which it may be attained is a very common thing among beings. However, the keys to creating a miracle mind are: Reservation of judgment and Disbelieve. This can be done by practicing inner affirmations giving permissions for new ideas, keep your mind open to miracles, create a real magic zone e.t.c. How to implement these is also another point that is most important. These include: loud affirmations to your self that you are a spirit being. Hence, Reject limitations, develop a new mind, discover where the secrete to the problem lies, learn by trusting instead of doubting, affirm that your intension creates your reality, act as if what you want is already with you, living a spiritual life before others, Develop authentic power for yourself and practice meditation. These keys however are not enough but the practice makes it complete and enough.

Furthermore, another important idea to me in this book is the mind as the key to any relationship. This is because the mind is all we have for relating; even you're physical touching. However, we need to realize that real magic in relationship mean an absence of judgmental attitudes. There is no solid relationships without a purpose. And this entails giving yourself to other unconditionally and accepting what comes back with love even if it is not what you anticipated. Love is the most important thing in life. It involves giving and nothing doing with what you receive. Besides this, other ingredients are relinquishing your needs to be right, allowing space, eliminating the idea of ownership; know that you don't have to understand. The application of the miracle mind-set in all your relationship cannot be overemphasized.

There is always a limiting factor in life and that is poverty. It makes people loss respect. No body likes to move with a poor person, that is why the idea of prosperity as discussed in this book cannot be overemphasized. One major step to this thinking big and rich because as you think, so shall you be. However, the fact that says jealousy throws stones at others by injures it self, is a fact that needs to be taken seriously. To overcome this, rejoice in the prosperity of others. This is another key to prosperity. Note that, without picturing something being done, it may not be done. Therefore, picturing of one's self at the peak puts you there. Whenever I remember that without giving I can't receive I do give and it has always made me richer.

There is only on stage to getting a miracle and that is Limitation. When you limit yourself, you hinder yourself from getting so many opportunities that come your way. God has made us so wonderful that we can create own magical personality.

Finally, we are in an age of spiritual Revolution. Angels are not coming down to make this a reality. It takes humans to bring about the revolution. It takes people who are ready to experience a miracle in this generation. And that can only be done by a change of action, thoughts and speech.

2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc? Explain.

When dealing with personal circumstances, this book has touched me in so many areas. Some of these areas are listed below:

Giving is a very vital part of my life. It has never let me down. Giving has really given me some things I was not expecting. Some things I was expecting were given to me by given. The last experience I had was when some one met me for a particular need he had, I was left with nothing other that my transport money, I gave him what he need because I believed I will get another which I did. In my life, I have believed I limitations. This I do because I believed I am not limited in any way. Wherever I go, I am always depending on God and I believe in my self. There was a time I was looking for job. If there was anything that gave me the job, I am sure it was my dependence on God and disagreement with the big lie, which is limitation. I have always disbelieved my unbelief and doubted my doubts thus giving me all I need in life.

3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.

This book covers so many ideas that are very important. All the facts in this book are very important and useful in one-way or the other. The book is covered with areas that deal with relationships, becoming spiritual being, prosperity, having a purpose in life, it fight against limitation, the way of taking care of health, besides others.

However, some areas that were very important to me are explained below:

The key for creating a miracle mind set is one of the areas I find very helpful and important in this book. Some do the steps listed are; reserving your judgments and disbelieves. This can be done by practiceing inner affirmations and giving yourself permission to adopt new ideas. Another is creating a real magic zone in your mind. This is done by loud affirmations. Affirm yourself as no limit person. Making a list of those self perceived limits that you have convinced yourself are true for you does this. Furthermore, developing a new mind-set towards the concept of limitation, discover the secret that sits in the center, learn through knowing and trusting rather than doubting and fearing, affirming that your intention creates your reality besides others.

Secondly, another area that is of importance to me is that you can't get enough of what you don't want. It is what we desire or decides to have we get. We can't get what we don't believe we can get. And this is very true in every day living.

Moreover, the mind as the key to any relationship is another vital part that has come to stay on my mind. There is no amount of thing we do that really matters in a relationship if it does not come from the mind. The mind is the key to a fixed and unfixed relationship.

Love, is another vital part of this book that is important to me. The building block to any thing we do in life is the love for that thing. If there is no love, nothing can be done successfully. The major factor that determines the success of a relationship is the love in that relationship.

Lastly, it must be noted that any one who is not ready for service is not also ready for leadership. To be great, service must come first. The major factor-causing problem around the globe today is that people are not willing to serve.

4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?

The book, Real Magic has challenged my thinking in so many ways. Some of the areas are: My relationship. This book has really thrown more light to a perfect and peaceful relationship in my life. I have learnt so many things about the do's and don'ts of a relationship.

Another area that challenged me was saying you overcome weakness by leaving them behind. You will still become weak if you do not leave them behind. However, it needs to be noted that whatever we fight weakens us and what ever we support empowers us.

Furthermore, you can never get enough of what you don't want. When you are not expectant, you cannot receive. What ever is not wanted cannot be given to us. There always a hunger and thirst before our desires can be fulfilled. This is a great fact that cannot be put aside.

Lastly, even if there was nothing I leant from this book, this fact has changed and challenged me so much “you don't have to understand”. There are times when offences will come. There are times when some people are not expecting to do something's to them. It hurts us dearly. However, we should not try to understand and look over the situation. Let love cover every wounds and injuries that have been sustained.

5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?

Reality, this book has so many ideas embedded in it. From my readings of the book, there is no outstanding point that I totally disagreed with in the written. The points are full and very useful to me in one-way or the other.

6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?

There are so many points that are helpful in this book. In fact. All the point are important in their own ways. However, the one's I found most helpful are the one's listed below:

The benefits of being a spiritual being. There are so many benefits attached to being a spiritual being and there blessings cannot be overemphasized.

Secondly, the mind as the key to relationship is another point that is helpful to me. The success of many relationships depends on the state of the mind. If the mind is not at peace there can't be peace in the relationship. However, the mind being at peace is the answer to the peacefulness of any relationship.

Love is said to be the greatest in life. Truly, it is. Without love, nothing much can be achieved in life. Love covers multitude of evil. It is the brain behind any relationship. Love is so important that it cannot be done without.

However, the point that was least helpful to me was that of being ready. True to get any thing, there is need to be ready but notwithstanding, there are cases of people who where not ready for miracle or magic and they got it. This was gotten however through divine mercy.

7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey.

The book “Real Magic” is written by Dr. Wayne W Dyer. Explores ways readers might improve relationships and find prosperity, personal identity, physical health, how to get to purpose through service to others and unconditional love, how to become spiritual beings and how to create a miracle mindset

Giant Steps
Assessment by Joel Ebute (Nigeria)

1 Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you.

The book, Giant's steps is a very nourishing book field with so many ideas. The writer of the book took time to bring out vital Ideas that can help and change humanity. He started by discussing the Idea of decision-making and goal setting. He made clear the idea of how, where and when to make decision and set goals. This is important to me because without setting goals at the right time, there is not much that can be achieved. Decision taken to day, puts you in better or worse place tomorrow. Therefore wise decisions taken today, puts you in the best pedestal for tomorrow.

Secondly, another Idea very important to me is the issue of asking questions. The question asked determines the answer given. So many people are in a very bad situation today because of the questions asked. Other have changed their life for good no other reason but the questions asked. Asking questions is another thing. Knowing when and how to ask is another side. This book has really expantiated the Idea of asking questions at the right time and the appropriate mode of asking the question.

Furthermore, the idea of emotions i.e the use, control and appreciation of our emotions. These Ideas are so important because, your emotions determine how you are perceived. Your health and fitness is also mostly determined by the emotions being put on the emotions we are in a particular point in time determines what we achieve or get at that particular time. The author went further in discussing the control of our emotions.

Moreover, the idea of Health, Fitness, Relationship and Code of conduct is a major idea that cannot be ruled out. The position of one's health can make or mar the person. Without sound health, there is little or nothing one can attain in life. This is because whatever comes along is taken helplessly. What more can I say about the control of our financial resources? How does one acquire more wealth, maintain or preserve the one's at hand and use it effectively. This book went a long way in dealing with issues. Your relationships makes or mar you. The friends you keep tell the kind of person you are. Your spouse determine what you are, what you achieve and get out of life, your emotions, your health and even your happiness in life. This very vital issue cannot be pushed away.

The last but not the least issue of most important to me is the idea of contribution. Whenever one is not ready to give, definitely, not also ready to gain. The more contributions made, the more one gets. The very moment contributions are stopped, one begins to die.

Therefore, the Idea of decision making, asking questions, dealing with your emotions, health, finance, relationship and code of conducts you apply to life and contributions are ideas of most important to me.

2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc? Explain.

The ideas in this book, has torched my life in so many ways.
.
Relationships: I have always learnt to choose friends that helped me in all areas of my life. Friends that takes me to my goals and desires in life.

Beliefs: I have also abided and strongly stood by my believes in life. I always have principles and beliefs I stand by which has always helped me. This book has taught me to always have less principles and bend towards other peoples' opinions when dealing with them.

Goals: the goal I have always had has made me what I am today and I will ever continue to set goals and targets in every area of my life. I have also seen and learnt that Without giving, there can't be blessings. Now I have in my understanding that this will go a long way in prospering me in life.

3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.

The ideas to be derived from this book are so many. However, the few listed down are as follows:

Firstly, the control of my emotions is one of the most important Idea I have learnt from this book. It has taught me how and when to control my emotions in a pleasing and acceptable way.

Secondly, the key to an expanded life is another vital and new idea I have gotten from the book. This helps me to know what to do in any circumstance I found my self and how to go over any negative condition.

Furthermore, the ultimate gift of contribution is another vital idea I learnt. I have leant to contribute positively where ever I find myself at any period of time. Heroes and Heroines are made from the type of contributions they made at a point and in the place they where found. Thus, becoming great men and woman.

Moreover, dreams are what make people. I have leant that nothing happens Without a dream. There is however, the need to sit down for a while and ponder over the various dreams before hatching them out. The dreams I have are to be backed up by strong convictions for effective result.

4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?

The book “Giant Steps” as the name implies has changed my views and thinking perspective. Without taking giant steps, there cannot be the achieving of giant result. Great result are only archived by those who take great steps in life.

I have being challenge to think big, act big and get big result. There is no circumstance surrounding me that cannot be moved. I have been challenged not to look at the problems surrounding but the aftermath and how to solve them.

Furthermore, my perspective and thinking on the issue of asking questions have been changed. This is because the questions you ask determines the way you are perceived and the answer you get.

One more idea that I have been challenged with is, knows the right decision to take. Without taking the right decision, we end up getting little or nothing out of life. The more right decisions we take, the more success we make in life.

My thinking pattern has also been changed towards body exercising. The body is the best picture of the human soul. We need health exercise to be healthy in all areas our lives. I have been challenged to go for exercises to be balanced and fit.

Lastly, I have been challenged by this book to always use pains as gains. Wherever, and whenever the pain comes, there is always a way of making it a pleasurable moment or a gain.

5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?

The writer “Anthony Robbins” has tried to make himself clear in every point and ideas touched in this book. Well, there is no point I totally disagree with in the book. All the points are well explained and I agree to all.

6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?

They're so many ideas I found helpful in the book. Some of which includes the importance of setting goals, learning how to work towards it and achieving it at the right time. Not only that, the issue of turning every pain across our parts to gain is another issue that cannot be overemphasized. This also goes a long way in helping my mental status in life. What more can we say about our various beliefs? What so ever we believe is what we receive or have. If we believe we can make it in life, there is no stoppage to our making it. But if we belief we cannot make it in life, there is just no way we can make it. Knowledge can only be derived through experiments and observations. There is no way we can learn successfully Without asking much questions about life and what life entails. Therefore, the issue of question cannot be overemphasized.

The tongue is one of the least of the body but very powerful. It almost controls the total parts of our body. That is to say, the word that proceeds out of our mouth is very important. They determine our success or failure in life. There is power in positive confession. What more can I say about emotions and the control of it. This goes a long way in stating the way our lives will be. Health, Fitness, Relationship and code of conduct are other vital issue that cannot be overemphasized. “The day we stop contribution, we begin to die”. This is to say, contribution is very important in getting us to a place in which we desire to be.

However, the most helpful idea in this book is 'putting it all together' i.e Health, Finance, Relationships and Code of Conduct, the idea I found list helpful was the idea of 'science of success conditioning'. I.e 'Get the knack of change'.

7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey.

The book written by Anthony Robbins is titled “Giant Steps”. It conveyed from the simple power of decision-making to the more specific tools that can redefine the quality of relationships, finances, health, and emotions, the book explains how to get maximum results with a minimum investment of time.

Unconditional Life
Assessment by Joel Ebute (Nigeria)

1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you.

The author of this book, in trying to drive his points home, made clear and elaborated all these points:

The first point that is of great importance to me is the man who would get healed. Really, every sick person is in one way or the other supposed to get healed. This may vary from one person to another and different ways may be involved in the healing. However, not all get well. This is because some people even die before they are supposed to die. The reasons are obvious. Most people die of worry and anxiety. This is the major problem befalling so many sick people in the world to day. There is a man who would get healed and that man looks away from his sickness and gets some other things done, thus, focusing on the healer rather than the sickness.

Another point I felt striking in this book is the way death was being handled. It is to be taken as a normal part of life. The book states that death or dying can be an adventure. We are all meant to die. Death is one of the characteristics of living things. Dead things do not die; it is only the living that dies. So many people die before they are supposed to die because of the fear of death. Dying every day could be an ideal way to live, because every morning would be a new life. Life can never be new unless we lean to die.

Furthermore, the idea of personal reality is another vital and important issue that has been discussed in same situation. The first might be looking strong and healthy while the other is looking like someone in a state of coma. That is due to the state of their mind. The first might go on his normal business while the other thinks about the day he/she is going to die. As it is possible to achieve the freedom to have any viewpoint you chose, so also is reality. It should also be noted that a healed life is the most natural way to live.

The laws of perception are another striving issue. The man that died in chapter two of part one, died because of his perception of what the doctor said. He is not supposed to die. However, he died. What an important and vital lesson. So many people have loosed so many things because of wrong perceptions. It should be noted however, that there is no light without the eyes. So many people today are looking but are not seeing. It is a different thing to look and another to see properly, it is another thing to have proper perceptions. Seeing properly is required.

One other important idea discussed in the book is that of time. It states how to deal and work with time because it is not a respecter of persons. It does not wait for any man. And as commonly said time lost can never be regained. It is better losing other things than losing your time.

2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc? Explain.

The issue of love as discussed in this book is a very important issue. The hand that holds the world together is nothing but love. If a home is no more a home but a boiling place, then love is the missing ingredient. The world will not be a place to live in if there is no love.

Unconditional love as discussed in this work is very important. There was a time I had a misunderstanding with one of my close friends. He was someone that took me as his brother. He brought me in to stay with him. As humans, we are bound to have misunderstandings. Even the teeth sometimes bite the tongue but they still live in harmony. After sometimes we had to reach a compromise because of the unconditional love amidst us. We sat down to discuss it over and we continued in our normal way of life.

There are so many things in life that might prove to be safe but in the real sense of it, they are not safe. There are many instances where people might think they are doing the things that are safe. At the end of it, they discover with shame that what they did is not safe. There is only one thing that is safe and that is love, it saves in times of trouble and is also a sure tower. I could remember a time when I was in a very bad condition. Every thing was almost gone even my life, but there was only one thing that saved me and that was love. I might not really be able to explain the depth of the story but there is something that stand out clear and that fact remains that love is safe and it is safe to love.

3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.

The book unconditional life is filled with so many ideas that are equally very important. However, some of the ones that are of most significance to me are explained below:

Firstly, there was part of this book that talked about a parent trying to correct a child of what he/she did. The child was asking why he was being punished for lying when mummy lies about her age. Why does he have to be punished for those plates when daddy leaves his?

This is one of the challenges faced by kids today. Some parents try to correct their children and lead them in the way they are not walking. However, this is not possible because whatever a child sees his parent doing is what he/she does. This is because the home is the first place a child learns what to do. A song says “ how can you want a child to be honest and true when he can only judge what's right by what he sees within you, I don't mean to bring down or speak to you one kind, you cant be a Christian if your light don't shine”. Thus, you can't train a child to walk in the light when you as a parent walk in darkness.

Many people today feel they are lost, set apart, isolated, not important, nothing to write home about e.t.c. That is why on the outside, looking inside is a very important part of this book that cannot be overemphasized. The way we talk to people or approach them is very important. Our words can build or destroy people. For instance, the writer of this book called somebody brilliant; this word can change her thoughts, emotions, mind, and e.t.c. She asked 'why did he say that'? That was perhaps because no one had ever told her that before or she felt she was not in any way brilliant. It could be that she had never felt love or affections from any body and this was a kind of surprise to her, (i.e. somebody making her feel she is being noticed and loved) it totally changed her. Therefore, as humans, our conversation and the words or language we use are very important because we never can tell the situation being passed through by the person being talked to. There are times some people hear some words that killed them and others hear some words that heal them. We can choose to kill or heal people by our words.

Is getting to higher position easy? Of course Not! But does stagnancy remain the answer? Another No! There are no guidelines for normal experience of a higher self. Even the greatest spiritual attainments take place within the limits of daily mental life. However, it is not with the absence of doubt, fear, hope and denials. Anyway, what really matters is the same encouragement given to a baby who has just learnt how to crawl but is soon displaced by another stage of learning how to stand. The globe is not stagnant. It is always on the move. It has never stopped rotating. If the world has never stopped moving, why then should the inhabitants feel satisfied dwelling in a position? It is not proper and sure, not the best way to live in a moving world.

4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?

Relationship is a very vital and integral part of life that cannot just be pushed aside. Once there is a lost of confidence in a relationship, then there is a problem. This is not just peculiar to the relationship, but will affect every aspect of our life. This is because it leads to a vacuum of distance and loneliness. So many people believe that having a loving family has turned to a heroic enterprise and doomed to failure more often than not. Relationship is all about two opposite values. These are, feeling close to someone and yet feeling apart. What a contrast! As long as a person has a healthy sense of how to share himself, but not share too much, the machinery of relationship run smoothly enough. For a relationship to thrive we must cultivate the habit of giving without expecting any thing back from our partners.

Silence is a very important part of life. Silence, though not easy to practice, helps if it can be practiced. Silence in itself, brings respect, draw attention and makes a person distinct in a place. It must be noted however, that it may note be sometimes easy practicing it, but if it can be done, the benefits are so many. This is another vital area that has challenged my thinking. It is worth trying to practice and it helps a lot.

5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?

Well, this book is filled with so many ideas but I so much disagree with idea of satisfying the present need. Well it is true that there are needs that can be satisfied in the present and should be satisfied. However, I don't believe the present needs should be focused as much as forgetting the future needs of life because, they may be sometimes more important than the present needs. Therefore, present needs should not be focused on as forgetting the future needs of life.

6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?

One of the ideas I find least helpful in this book is the idea of the circular trap. It talked about being addicted to something; the habits, which are an exaggerated version of all habits, which cling to outward realities rather than allowing new life to flow in. It should be noted however that all attempts should be made to fight addiction and being addicted.

The most important idea to me was seen in the importance of feeling important. The way we see ourselves determines our healing. Ray got healed fast than usual because of his courage, learnt how to tie his shoe with one hand when his hand was amputated. He accepted love offered by his family and friends. These are rare qualities that should be desired by all.

7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey.

Unconditional Life is a book written by Deepak Chopra, MD. In his book, he gave the ways to discovering the power to fulfilling dreams. He took time to write on how human consciousness can lead the way to a total freedom.

Your Sacred Self
Assessment by Joel Ebute

1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you.

The author of this book in his characteristics way has also put together some ideas which are very vital and almost impossible to do without in our every day dealings. He took time to buttress some points and made them very clear. Some of which are very important to me as a human being.

Firstly, he made elaborate talk on energy. Almost every thing in life needs energy to survive. Except they are dead. Without energy, nothing thinkable can be done in life. Knowing who you really are is another vital point that was dealt with i.e. what you are feeling in your body, on the earth and at any given point in time. However, that standing point is to know and understand the universe and know that our participation in it is just haphazard thing. We must know that wherever we find ourselves, we are there for some reasons and a purpose, which should be striven to accomplish. To experience self-awareness, you will sometimes experience and enhance the meaningfulness of things happening around you. Knowing this, that every thing that happens in life is for a reason and there is a lesson to be learnt from it. A major lesson that cannot be thrown off is the real meaning of freedom i.e. what freedom is all about. When you have nothing to lose, then comes freedom. You feel blissful and you expect the world to be a divine place where you love others when you are free and free minded.

There is something that destroys without mercy, it destroys rapidly and that is no other thing but stagnancy. That is why it is necessary at every given point in time to keep moving. The speed does not really mater, what matters most is timing and direction. It is hazardous to remain stagnant, for that reason, it is important taking a step forward. If you are always looking back, you will soon be heading towards that way. The fact that we create our history is an undoubtable fact but we must forget the past to be able to forge ahead to better place.

So many people today blame some external bodies for what they past through. However, the truth is that the real problem is not external bodies but we. The alternative to blame is self-responsibility. This can only happen however, when we become an inner directed person. I think it pays to be a learner instead of being a blamer.

Doubts right? Very dangerous they can be. There is just one thing to do with doubts and that is to get rid of them. Doubt has a partner and that is called fear. This is because they go hand in hand. It is also to be gotten ride of. Moreover, it has an antidote and that is faith. That faith in God and yourself.

Another point that is of importance to me is the observation of one's self. There is only one way of getting over your reaction. And that is self-study and observation. This include observing your body, mind, life energy.

Lastly, the idea that matters most to me is the idea of inner peace and your inner dialogue. It must be noted that peace is not the absences of conflict. As you learn to shut down your inner dialogue and become more peaceful, you will begin to know the presence of God in your life.

2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc? Explain.

Appeal is a very important ingredient in life that should not be done without. If there is any thing that has helped me in life, it is prayer. My parents taught me the way of prayer right from my childhood. Thus, having any problem, I pray to get the problem solved. It has really worked and it is still working and it will continue to work. It is of interest however to note that prayer might not need any form of energy and can be done anywhere and in any position. Prayer puts you in touch with the truth that is within yourself. It is also a major way to shut down the inner dialogue.

Doubt is a powerful instrument used by the devil to hinder people from getting their blessings. Permitting doubt is the same as having a traitor at the helm of your life. In fact, it is a traitor to the peak. There was a time in my life when I used to be filled with doubts not until I met a man who through much conversation, made me understand that doubt is not a thing to play with. Even if things go wrong for people, he believes it will always go right with him and it has always worked out for him.

3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.

The writer of this book made his points very clear. However, some of the most important concepts in this book are:

Firstly, the challenge for meeting the need of freedom is a very vital point that cannot be pushed aside. Some of these suggestions are; making an attempt to serve others without telling any one, the practice of making meaningful coincidence (i.e. picturing what you would like to happen in your life), keep yourself appraised of the inner world where you do all of your living, take time to appreciate beauty, attempt to remove all enemies from your thoughts, thinking of yourself as limitless, being surrendered, dream awake, learn to be silent, imagine a spiritual solution to your problem, learn to lighten your load and begin that now, be yourself rather than pleasing others with what you are not, direct your attention to what pleases you, never judge, and finally, have conversation with God in private and important moments each day.

Secondly, if you are not your past, who are you? Is another important point to me. A name is only given to a person to distinguish him or her from others. But the name is not the person. In fact you are not your name, body, mind, occupation, relationship, race or religion, e.t.c. What then is a human being made up of? It may be of interest to know that the inner witness is the entire being. It is nothing but the answer.

4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?

The beautiful thing about man is that he is a free moral agent. Thus having the power to choose whatever way he wants to go. One of the areas that have so much challenged me is that man can decide to choose peace. You can decide to replace turmoil with the peace of mind. However it should be noted that there is only one true and lasting peace and that is the peace of God. This gives you all other things needed in life. Some of the things that fight peace are: confrontation and argument, comparisom and unhealthy competition, striving, worry, giving of deadlines, accommodation and acquisition, rejoicing in the trouble of others, e.t.c

Secondly, the payoff picture for the ego in prompting turmoil is another vital point of importance. Some of the reason why ego keeps humans in the state of inner turmoil are; the ego has been there since childhood, it does not want a change, it thrives on fear, it wants the facing of the outwards rather than inward and it also wants to always be on the more.

Lastly, putting peace in life permanently is one of the areas that has challenged me the most. Some of the things to do are not very hard. They include: offering to have peace, learning from the past, release the emotions of fear and guilt and replacing them with love, forgiveness and kindness, notice every thing that offends, learn to communicate peacefully, knowing that judgment and peace are antithetical, learn to give yourself a silent retreat every day, pick being kind when there is a choice of being kind and right, and lastly, keep uppermost in your mind a place within you where there is perfect peace and impossibilities. Peace is something that should be grabbed and never let go. These steps show the way to a lasting peace.

5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?

The author of this book tried to bring his points' home by explaining elaborately. However there where some points I totally disagree with. Some of these are:

Firstly, the writer said it is wrong to belief that human beings are different and distinct in life. There are no two people that are the same in any way. In fact, even twins are different and never the same in any way of life.

Furthermore, the writer also went against goal setting. How do you know what you want in life and out of life without setting goals? Goal setting is a very vital and integral part of life that should not be played with. If there is any thing that has helped me in life, it should be goal setting. Therefore I totally disagree with that inspiration.

Lastly, the writer went against doing your best. If you don't do your best who will do it for you? The normal say goes thus “do your best and leave the rest”. Even God works on what we have done. Not doing any thing or not doing our best is nothing to write home about therefore I totally disagree with that.

6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?

As the parts and ideas of this work are very important in one-way or the other. They have all affected people's lives.

However, what I find most important in this work is the last part which talked about “Towards and Egoless World”. After all said and done, if there are no attempts to get freedom, think nothing has been done. Therefore, the most important thing is not just knowing the theoretical aspect but putting what has been read into to action(s).

Moreover, the area I found least helpful to me was the area that said there is only one existence and it is physical. Secondly, the saying that dreams is no reality. That is true but without dreams and visions, I don't think there can be realities. It is dreams we work towards to, thus making them realistic. If there is no dream there is nothing to make realistic.

7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey.

This is a book written by Dr. Wayne W Dyer. This book deals extensively on how to become free from Ego. It talked about the various steps to getting freedom from self and having the real peace.

The New Dynamics Of Wining
Assessment by Joel Ebute (Nigeria)

1: Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and
discuss why they were important to you.

What does it take to be a winner? What must you know to be a true champion in life? I want to believe this book has all in it. It is a very good material that has detailed out important ideas that can change humanity for the better. For me the following ideas are found very important: The Drive to Win, Paying the Price, Fame, Fortune, and Integrity, Self-confidence and Self-transformation, and finally, the Quality of Leadership.

Think about the drive to win, its one of the ideas I considered very attractive. Do you want to build a good life for yourself and family, you're determine to provide the education of your children and for your own retirement, and for all the things you want to do right now. Remember you are living in a global village where competition, change, and complexity are increasingly at unprecedented speed. The unexpected is occurring on a daily basis. The opportunities are still there, certainly, but you're are going to have to prepare yourself differently, train more thoroughly, act more intelligently and proactively and anticipate future trends. You're going to make them happen.

What does it take to succeed in life? Hard work, careful decision-making. Technical expertise. The support of friend's and family. Those are part of it but the most important it's one's ability to access the inner resources of strength and commitment that are the defining characteristics of a champion in any field. Think of getting to any place in life, all one needs is the matter of mental training. Mental training is very important to any one that wants to build a great future. When you set a goal for yourself or your organization, you're creating a competitive situation. Remember, at the world-class level in any field, it's truly mind over muscle, mind over competition, and mind over everything, have at the back of your mind that Desire plus Action is equal to Motivation, by definition motivation is action. Having known this, get red of fear because fear is a powerful negative motivator. Take off the fear of catastrophic of danger, fear of change, the fear of success, and finally the fear of failure, note that champions don't shrink from risk.

Secondly lets get some inspiration from paying the price. Commitment is probably even more important in work and career. It is tempting to think that commitment is just another word for “ working hard” but unfortunately it isn't quite that simple. How would you rate your commitment to achieving your career goals? Its something that can't be measured simply in terms of hours worked. If the commitment is there, the achievement will follow, attaining top-levels result may require some time, but you can make the commitment starting right now. Note that when you've paid the price, then you expect the gold. For me I cant forget the seven rules for winners. I love to remember: Being proactive and preventive about my physical health, I view life as a continuous learning experience, I get what I pay for at any point in time, I view mistakes as corrective feedback to get me back on track, I set my own internal standards for success, the choice is mine and I choose to win, and finally rule seven, I will keep training and gaining without complaining. I can use this seven rules to convert desire to win into a total commitment to win, by paying the price of long time success.

Thirdly, fame, fortune and integrity cannot be kept aside: Think about it. A great deal is at stake. It seems as though greed and money, on the other hand, and honesty and integrity, on the other, are destined to compete for individual and collective consciousness. People today, especially young people, need far fewer critics and far better role models. By setting and example of honesty, consistency, and commitment in all your relationship, you can create a kind of wealth for yourself and your family that's of much greater value than fame and fortune, as we usually understand it. That is to say by failing to set a positive example, I can or will be inviting serious trouble. The book brought to my understanding that one of the most powerful and prevalent behaviour-shaping influences in the world to day isn't a human being, or even a cartoon character like Bart Simpson. It is an attitude. Which the author called silent approval. Let have at the back of our minds that whatever we do consistently, whether good or bad, is what people are going to take as the truth. Consistency is the opposite of silent approval. There're seven specific things I can do to build consistency and integrity into my leadership style: I will always question my motive on a daily basis, I will show and not just tell people what to do, I will be my own investigative reporter, I will be loyal to my inner cycle, I will follow through because talk is never enough even if I am speaking the truth, I will look to those beneath me and finally I will learn to watch my watch. Fame, Fortune and Integrity cannot be overemphasized.

Fourthly, self-confidence and self-transformation is another area that really brought lime light to my understanding. Actually, there's a great deal one can do towards consistently achieving peak performance. One can start by learning to detect and eliminate self-sabotaging thoughts, feelings and habit. Then by using the positive mental techniques to sell more policies, program more software, service more clients, or meet whatever challenges one face every day. Remember there're two great misconceptions about peak performance: first, there's the idea that you must always bear down and try your hardest to win. Secondly, self-defeating misconception is also a mirror image of the first. Champions in all walks of life learn to achieve this relaxed focus. It's different from lack of intensity. Rather, it's centering attention only on what's important for flawless execution. External thoughts and unwanted tension are erased. Everything is on target. Therefore, don't just hope for the best, learn to expect the best, even if you have to force yourself to do so.

Fifthly, the quality of leadership is a topic I have ever been longing to read, study and practice. It is important to know that real leaders come in all shapes, sizes and from all walks of life. But they all have a few things in common:

* They are never so big that they can't bend down to helping someone else.
* They are never so wise that they don't remember who taught them.
* They are never so fearless that they don't play by the rules and live by the law.
* They are never so gifted that they won't share their skills with others.
* And they are never such big winner that they forget what it feels like to lose.

I really like the simple definition. Authentic leadership is a very simple principle that most people try to make complicated. As a leader be sensitive to opportunities for welcoming someone who feels estrange, to accept the differences in others who work and live nearby, and to see the others person's point of view before passing judgment. A real leader appreciates the differences among individuals, and finds value in those differences that enhance all our lives.

Leadership isn't based on theory or technique. It depends on your ability to subordinate your own ego for the good of the team. Note that good leadership motivates others to their highest levels by offering opportunities, not obligations. It's a paradox that the best leaders are really the best followers. The wise leader doesn't always grab the front- and-center spotlight or the gavel, but stays more in the background, or at the side of the conference table. Many of the greatest accomplishment of a true leader go largely unrecognized. Because the true leader doesn't push, manipulate, or control, there's no resentment among team members and little resistance. A real leader leads by listening first and then sparks the internal values in other to gain decisive movement toward accomplishing the common goals. I can't forget the great lesson from Luciano Pavarotti, it is challenging, inspiring and very important to every one that want to be something in life.

Furthermore, lets think or talk about the Do's and Don's of a quality leadership. A leader should listen often and as much as possible to what others say, and try to do so without prejudgment. A leader should not put anyone off or penalize anyone in any way for asking question. a leader should use praise frequently and sincerely. If you feel that criticism is definitely required, as a leader don't do it in front of others. A leader should be firm and fair. A leader should plan leisure and recreational activities that everyone can do together. Don't be afraid to share your concerns with others as a leader. As a leader, don't make rash promise and don't be inconsistent. As a leader, whenever you are in a leadership role, focus your supervision on teaching effective habits and skills, not in looking for mistake. The above-mentioned ideas are found very important to me and are very helpful.

2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc? Explain.

The ideas and concepts in this book cannot be overemphasized. I came to realize that, early in any game of life, champions risk playing the fool, because champions know there never was a winner who wasn't at some point a beginner. The greatest risk is the fear of taking action, which now I believe I have gotten rid off. I was glad to know that motivation is a desire to change, and it must be internalized before it has any real power, this has impact my life in many dimensions. The fear of change, and even the fear of success, keeps many a person's natural drive for achievement locked in neutral or in reverse. At this moment I don't fear change and I don't fear success. The material benefit of success brings are wonderful. Know before I make any decision, whether it is personal or professional I always ask myself, is it true, is it right, is the honest thing to do, and I don't tell my children or my peers, or my subordinate what to do, I show them. Know I am calm, confident, and in the zone. Winning comes naturally to me. I am clearly focused on the target I've chosen. Now I can lead others to do their best as a leader.

3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.

I must say that, this book has a lot of new concept that brings about learning but few will be mentioned. Come to think about the twenty-one day plan, it actually training programme to prepare any body for a greater success in life, both personal and professional. I was uplifted when I understand that winning begins with feeling good about myself, referring myself in positive terms, and seeing myself as a winner. This doesn't mean that I will be arrogant or overbearing person. In contrary, the ability to see myself in a positive light will make everyone around me fell better about themselves as well. Note that life is a treasure and not a hunt, success is a journey and not a destination, to travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive.

4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?

Yes the book has in many perspectives challenged me and changes the way I think and do things.

First of all, the challenge that motivation is a desire for change and that it must be internalized before it has any real power is a challenge to me. Now I don't fear change, I don't fear success. Now I know I can motivate my self to success by paying the price. I have at the back of my mined that commitment is formed at a certain vital turning point in my life, when I seize a moment; I turn it to an opportunity.

Furthermore, come to think of integrity is another challenge. To sustain motivation over a long term, there must also be a commitment to human values like honesty, responsibility, and concern to others. Making that commitment, and living up to it every day, is what I understand to be integrity.

Notwithstanding, self-Confidence and self-Transformation cannot be put aside. I will always remember that, hoping for the best, preparing for the worst, and keeping myself ready for surprise all the time because it is important to build a shelter against a raining day. Know I live to expect the unexpected.

5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?

Well for me, I want to consider the Ideas of this book as okay. I recommend this book to any one who wants to succeed in life as a leader either personally or professionally.

6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?

I personally find all the chapters in this book most helpful to me. Because I've got to know how to put resources to work. I've got to be able to transform ability into tangible accomplishment. What a great material.

7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey.

Dynamics Of Winning outlines a program for tapping one's inner resources and abilities to achieve more than you or anyone else thought possible. Short statements of praise and advice for repeating during moments of pressure. He concludes with a 21-day plan for establishing and accomplishing specific personal goals.

Nonviolent Communication
Assessment by Joel .U. Ebute (Nigeria)

1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book
why they were important to you.

The book Nonviolent Communication is embedded with so many ideas. Some of the ideas that are most important to me as a person are listed below:

Firstly, the idea of “giving from the heart” is a very important idea to me. That cannot be done with out. There is nothing that is done in life and not from the heart that is accepted. This is because anybody can do it as well. What really makes the difference is what is done from the heart. The need for a 'focused” attention is also stated. This is very important as well. When we make use of nonviolent techniques, we perceive relationships in a new light when we hear our deeper needs and those of others. When this is done without compassion however, it may be fruitless.

Secondly, the “communication technique that blocks compassion” is another vital idea important to me. When communication is made without compassion, it has little or no effect. To communicate effectively, there is the need of doing it with compassion attached to it. However, there are some hindrances to this. Some of which includes judgmental attitudes. This includes all forms of judgment that do not raise the banner of communication high. Another is making of comparisons. We are not born to be equal. Every body has his/her own peculiarities. By the time we go on with comparing ourselves, it shows the highest level of foolishness. What more will I say about denial of responsibility? This is very bad as well.

In addition, the need for separation of evaluation from observation is another vital point. Though to be used together but in a separated manner. If this is not done successfully, it will lead to criticism, which is another problem on its own.

What brings people around us in life is the way we feel and the way we express our feelings. When wrong words are used for feelings other than their interpretations, there is a problem. That is why identifying and expressing feelings is another idea that is very important to me.

In addition, there is the need of taking responsibilities for our feelings. This we do by our actions when we hear negative reports, i.e both to ourselves and to others, the needs at the roots of feelings, the pains we take in expressing and not expressing our need is also a very vital point, then how to be delivered from emotional slavery. This in turn leads to liberation.

Positive confession, is it? That is what makes you go and enter places no one has gotten to. This makes you to do the impossible things. Positive confession makes a man get going where other turn back, it brings about you being faster where people are getting weak, makes you stand where people are falling and gives you what ever you want in life. In dealing with positive speaking, when we make requests, we do it consciously and very clear because the clearer we are about what we want; the more likely it is that we'll get it. Moreover, there is also a need for reflection to be sure the meaning of what we said has been passed across. What more do I have to say about requesting of a group and requesting honestly. Without a defined objective, we take whatever comes our way and we don't get what we want. That is because we don't have a defined objective.

Listening is another idea, which is important here. However, it is not enough when things are done without empathy. When listing, it is important doing it with empathy. This entails listening to what people are in need rather than what they are thinking about us. The need for paraphrasing what we hear cannot be overemphasized. Just as reflections are important, paraphrasing is important as well. When we stay with empathy, we allow speakers to touch deeper levels of them selves. Thus, solving problems. There is something that matters and stands out clear. You cannot give what you don't have. When depression is in you, there is no way it can be taken from another person by you. We need to understand that we need empathy to give empathy.

Empathy is one side. But the empathy that does the healing is the real thing. When there is empathy without healing it isn't complete. Most of the time, people do a lot of speaking than listening but the truth is that much is said by listening for other people's feeling and needs. There are times when our conversations are dead. This can only be brought back to life by one thing and that is interrupting empathically.

Another vital point of my interest is changing “how to” to “chose to”. Things you chose to do have to be done.

Anger is it? The causes of this are obvious. However, the real cause is what we want in the inside of us. i.e the voice springing in our minds not the situation factor. To take right decisions when angry, there is only one successful thing that can be done and that is to take time. Take time in thinking about the cause and not the situation to the anger.

Lastly, the power of appreciation is another vital idea that cannot be thrown off. However, is should not be done not to manipulate but to celebrate. Most times, we tend to notice what is wrong neglecting that which is right. But I think it is sometimes helpful to notice and appreciate right actions. This is because it encourages people to do more.

2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal
circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your
goals, your values, etc? Explain.

There is nothing one achieves in life without proper communication. The only key that puts you where others have not been is communication. This has really help me in life. I remembered a time when I was looking for a job. Though not easy but the job was giving to me be
