As A Man Thinketh
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
Part One - Review Of Contents
In the book, the part that are more significant to me can not be said to
be a particular part because all the parts in the book are very relevant to
me. All the part in the book have one significant or the other as regards my
life. I found part one to be talking about thought and character, I was able
to understand that thought and character goes a long way to determine what
an individual is and how he goes living his life..This part also reveal to
me that sometimes that what ever thought I have is what I exhibit as in
character. That is say that whatever goes on in ones thought is that person
does. I also find it significant that man in some way can ruled out is
character as a result of his thought. That thought in the mind hath made me
what I am by thought was wrought and built. That I can find every truth
connected with my being if I will dig deep into the mine of my soul , I am
the maker of my character, the molder of my life and the builder of my
destiny. It is only by patience, practice and ceaseless importunity can a
man enter the door of the temple of knowledge.
I need to put something in order for me to get another. That is before I
will cultivate I will need to plant. thought and character are one, and as
character can only manifest and discover itself through environment and
circumstances. That man should not be limited with whatever they see around
them. Life is not an element of chance, but all is the result of a law which
can not err. Man should not believes in the circumstances that surround him
because you can not create the outside condition. Good thought bear good
fruit and bad thought bear bad fruit. We should not be anxious to improve
our circumstances but improve
ourselves so as not to remain bound. Blessedness is not a material
possession, it is the measures of thought , wretchedness is not lack of
material possession, is the measure of wrong thought. Blessedness and riches
are only joined together when the rich are rightly and used wisely. A man
only begin to be a man when he cease to whine and revile and commence to
search for the hidden justice which regulates his life. Thought can not be
kept secret because it rapidly crystallizes into habit and habit solidify
into circumstance. Thought of fear doubt and indecision crystallize into
weak, unman and irresolute habit, when solidify into circumstances of
failure, indigence and slavish dependence. When one have thought of courage,
self-reliance and decision crystallize into many habit which solidify into
circumstances of success, plenty, and freedom.
A man can not directly choose his circumstances, but he can choose his
thought and so indirectly, yet surely shape his circumstances. One should
not live in fear. Strong pure and happy thought build up the body in vigor
and grace. The body is a delicate and plsatik instrument which responds to
the thought by which is impressed. Men will continue to have impure and
poisoned blood so long as they propagate unclean thought. Cheerful thought
dissipate the ills of the body, he who has conquer doubt and fear has
conquer failure .
Part Two - Personal Impact
I have learnt from the book that thought and character goes together and
for me to succeed in life I will need to think in such a way that will
influence my character positively. I as an individual need to take into
consideration of what goes on as regard my thought. Thought in the book has
made me to know that there is a like to the way I want to do things I have
also learn from the book that thought will only help me achieve the right
things of life when I think positively. It is the way I think of things that
I will get them. So I should try as much as I can to think positively so as
to get to the peak of my dreams. I have also understand that thought help to
determine my circumstance and only if I can think positive as regards my
dreams and aspiration that I can get to the peak and circumstance will
change. The circumstance we are looking at here can have a link to the
present situation one finds itself. The situation can either be of success
or failure depending on what circumstance we are. Life itself is a teacher
and you can find whatever you want from it depending on whether you want to
succeed or fail. I can have my circumstances change for good, it all depend
on the way I think of that circumstances. I also know that thought can not
be kept secret but should be the type that I can use to crystallize myself
up where I want to be. I have one live in fear, since I have finish raeding
and not just reading but understanding what it is to live in fear and I say
to fear goe behind me. like a saying, that you should not fail to try
because tying can can you just understand something‚ Äs better. when I leave
in fear I can not really do some certain thing because of the fear of
failure. i have now understood that the fear of a particular thing
does kill not the thing itself.
I now know that my thought is linked as well to my purpose in life, I
have a purpose but have I have the thought of my purpose, that is the
question I asked myself when I finished reading the book. I will conceive a
purpose and I want it to be legitimate so as to help me accomplish my
purpose on earth. After I must have conceive my purpose I should mentally
mark out a straight pathway to the achievement of my purpose. Doubt and fear
should not come near me when it has to do with the fulfillment of my purpose
on earth. Thought of doubt and fear can never make me accomplish my purpose
or rather anything I so desire. when I conquer doubt and fear I have
conquered failure. I should make myself strong by careful and patient
training, so the weak thought can make me strong.
All I want to achieve and probably fail to achieve is as a result of my
thoughts, I will like the thought that will make me achieves those I really
desire but then, can my thought be the right thought, that is what am still
trying to unravel, I can only get help myself only that I want to the help,
I must be willing to be help and show some kind of sign that will bring
about someone helping me. I also need to sacrifice if I want to get progress
or probably achieve, an achiever strive very hard to make sure that he get
that which he wants. I also like in a situation where will be in charge of
my future and determine what goes on in my thought. I am very happy that the
book has broaden my knowledge about the way of thought and the implication
it has as regards a determining factor of the future.
Part Three - Summary
The book I will say have help me to shape the way I think and what goes
on in my thought. The book from the first part to the last has one or two
significant as regarg my personal life. I was able to deduce from the book
that man can,in no small measure but to have the right thought about it self
and everything that surround him. The way we perceive life is very important
and also we should know that the world is ful of different opportunity and
one can only tap from this opportunity except he is able to have the right
thought. I have known that good thought bear good fruit and bad thought bear
bad fruit , to this end I will recommend this book to everyone I can so as
for them to be able to take charge of their future. You will be what you
want to if only you are willing and able to give it what it takes.
Jonathan Livingstone Seagull
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
PART ONE - Review Of Contents
Well the book has been of tremendous help on leadership. So many people
want to become leaders but they do not know that it takes more than what you
think. Well with JONATHAN LIVINGSTONE it was quite different because in the
case of him trying to learn what he want to be in future. For him he want to
fly but it was not that easy for him to fly as he went through a lot. To him
becoming a seagull is what matters to him and how to fly and become one of
the seagulls. At first he did not take his time to study the gull and their
way of life but rather he went straight and trying to becoming one. He went
and make wings and ready to fly immediately. The parents try as much as they
could , to make him see reason with him self as regards the way of the
seagulls but rather he want to fly and that what matters to him as at that
time. After much try and errors, he was unable to make a mark as to what he
really wanted. The seagulls are sea birds that use the sea for fun and also
make a living out of the sea. There is also an altitudes these sea birds can
fly. Most gulls didn't bother to learn more that the simplest fact of
flight. For most gulls, it is not flying that matters but eating as well.
WHY I FOUND THE BOOK MEANINGFUL.
The desire by Jonathan to fly, jonathan love to fly like the seagulls and
ready to do anything so as for him to be able to fly. But while trying to do
that will not make oneself popular.
He was the type that never give up nbecause trying to be a leader there
will be different obstacle from right and center but the most important
thing is to remain focus and not be distracted by circumstances. Even when
he was asked what he wanted, he was precise and insisted, a good leader must
be precise and as well be able to define what they want for themselves.
There will be so many that one will encounter when you are trying to
build your dream and desire, but the never be moved by what comes but stay
focused. Being a leader means that there are some hurdles that one need to
cross, but in the case of trying to cross those huddle, there will be so
trail and failure but that does not mean that you can not make it work
because of the errors. It is also learned from the book that the more you
try the better you become. Jonathan did that and it worked out for him.
After much trails and eventually when you are now perfect, you will have
being able to even set some records to which so other will want to follow
suit.
Determination today leads to success tomorrow, Jonathan was determine and
he was able to make it.
There is also that while you are trying to do that you really
wanted, there will be pain and anger you will encounter, but do not give up
cos is one of those price you pay.
Do not accept the ordinary. As a leader you do not settle for the
ordinary.
While you are doing that you want and trying harder, you discover new
thing in the course of doing that.
After putting all, when success comes you will be celebrated and most
importantly, people will be surprised at your breakthrough. A leader needs
to be patient and persist on what they want.
Learning has no price. Learning to be what you desire has no price
attached to it, because it part of what build you for a great future.
Part two - Personal Impact
The book has a personal impact in my life, as an individual I have always
believe in faith and destiny, what I can do and what I cannot do, I also
believe that my purposes of being on earth is to make an impact, touch the
life of other people. That I was created to solve a problem for someone out
there.
I also wants to discover my self by doing the extra ordinary, going
beyond my expectation, any little opportunity I have, and grab it fast. I
also believe that certain things are got by certain conditions, it Is also
hoped that I cannot just depend on the things around me, I have to look out
for some more things that I can take as a substitute.
I have a practical value in my life concerning these book, I now discover
that if I did not do much of what am expected of , I would not achieve what
I needed, so tried very hard to see how I can teach and train student so as
to see values in themselves, I would go for the practical class and some
teaching skills and then I believe it was faith that would make me achieve
the success I needed but I discover later that with constant practice and
training I will be perfect in training and teaching. That was what Jonathan
Livingston seagull did, he flew different times at different miles, from
hundred of miles to thousands of miles until he got to heaven where he
thought that he has reached his destination.
I value what people says as in they tend to give me courage and advice on
how to overcome fear, boredom and fight for what I need to get. My values
are those things that I know is really worth to have as your own, one thing
I know is that I always fight for what I value most in life, I struggle for
the things that are useful to me.
I acquire my goals by striving hard, struggle , put in my best, be
dedicated to what I do. My goals to have a good result from what I want to
do and what I needed. He who see farthest fly highest, these means if one
see beyond what he expected he will reach the highest peak in life.
I belief in want something get it. I like to get what I wanted as far as
that courage and good effort is there. These book relates to issues in my
life because in life we have different people with different goals and
beliefs, every body wants to have the best and be the best,
To be the best, you have to look at people experience and try to learn
from their experience so as not to make mistake in life. If there any leader
in recent time that inspire me, is in the person of BILL CLINTON.
Is a leader by example.
Part three - Summary
Is all about learning you want to do and how to go about it. What ever
you want to be you can if you really want it. The book of Jonathan
Livingston seagull have a little impact in my personal life. Like Jonathan,
he want to fly and he really want to fly high but do not make any attempt of
flying high he would nôt have reached heaven, more so when he was advice to
study fish and how to get fish, he decided to learn how to fly because
flying is what he prefer since he has wings to fly, he was later advice that
someday the water would get dry and there would be no fish in the water so
he concentrated more on flying.
The book is more valuable to me because it makes me understand the fact
that one should always go beyond his way sometimes to discover other things
in life, I should always spread my talents and dream high, see the farthest
and reach the highest. The book has also motivated me to increase in my
struggle in life, I should not be content with what I have or where I am
there are other things I need to strive for in life.
The book is very interesting, most especially the part where Jonathan
sank low in the water where he can not find his way out, another part is
where he know the reasons of his living, that it is to reach out to people
and tough perfection. All this do not discourage him rather make him push in
harder. Another part I found interesting is where he flew in the dark and he
was told that seagulls do not fly in the dark that is
why they do not have eyes like the owl.
The part I found most helpful is where they said he who see farthest fly
highest and the part I found least helpful is when he was in heaven .
What I disagree about the book is the spellings of some of the words,
they are not properly spelt out I had to search in the dictionary so I can
correct the words and understand what the page is talking about.
Very well I will recommend the book to every one that have a dream and
desire to reach there ultimate goal in life without getting distracted or
discourage by circumstances.
Unconditional Life
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you?
The opening chapter of the book unconditional life is more of telling a tale. However, the ideas of the book are endless ranging from building a healthy mind –body system
to understanding the essence of life as a person.
One of the ideas is ‘for every marching in there is a marching out’. By this point I feel the undoubtable perfection of creation. The universe is perfect in all its sphere
therefore, for any thing that is removed, there must be an equal replacement to avoid shortage or excess.
‘for every layer that lay covers, there’s a layer that collapes out’. When I saw this idea, I read it at a whisk that while reading on the importance kept flashing across
my mind and I had to return to where the point is and read it again and this time aloud. I thought for a while what this was all about which covers and collapes. Then I
recall that for every ugly habit I decide to drop, a new clean one is picked and vice visa. ‘The reason why people move away from us sometimes is because the need for us
to get across to them at a distance place has arrived’.
Sometimes I wonder why a relationship so good with a lot of promises all of a sudden come to a halt where either party feels the need to get over to the other. I know that
sometimes the pain is so great that whether the wrong or the wronged, I should take the courage and show the other person love by seeing it as an opportunity to get across
to the person nor even more than before. ‘ our culture has not properly understood the world in so many ways’. Upon seeing this point, I felt there was really no need for
me to read further.
But how do I start, what are the problems of the world? What is our culture? After a close look at the two question, I realized that our culture is the problem of the
world. Biblically, God created the world and we were told in the bible that God was pleased with his creation but the same good book also made us understand that God
regretted creating man and so cut down man’s duration to not more than a hundred and twenty years (120yrs). Philosophically, according to the ancient Greeks, man believed
that at nature the world was not safe and so man decided to form communities which we described today as ‘culture’. Owing to greed and fear of equality. No man is willing
to sacrifice for the betterment of his fellow.
I sometimes fee l there are two worlds that of Africa and the rest. The content is noted for nothing other than war, poverty, hunger to list but a few and the father of
all invention ‘necessity’.
As a young man, I should have equal opportunity as the rest of those in my category, but that is asking too much of what isn’t.
Our culture chose to believe that disease is basically on the material eve. In Nigeria among the respective tribes of over two hundred (200). It is very difficult to
convince a large portion of these groups that for people to die is a natural cause. Some are of the opinion that only those that are bewitched that actually fall sick and
die.
I once witness a situation where a four lane with a pedestrian bridge for people to use , some people around the area prefer to go in a superman style run across the road.
One of this occasion a young man on his way to work one morning was hit by a car and died on the spot. I noticed that some of the mourners who came to the scene where
saying we were been followed.
‘The mind cannot free itself through any mental activity , whether of struggle, vigilance or repression’. Sometimes after reading soul lifting scriptures about how to free
the mind of thought that are destructive soon after I stop the book the mind return to its former state and I feel cheated of not being able to contain what I have just
read and put it into practice. The struggle begins with what is right and wrong, moral and not however the negative options seems to be more than the good one’s, I
sometimes feel that the reason for the fear of good option is how I should consider my option rather than the bad ones.
2. Can you relate the ideas or concept in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, beliefs, goal and values. Explain
All over the world according to analysis available, it calculated to have equal problems as good opportunities. The reason why I react to certain impulses, I have come to
understand as a result of what the book has expose me to. Health wise, before reading this book, I feel there sometimes should pain on my body because this should remind
me that I am a human and bound to respond to changes in the environment. I have never had to look inside to wonder how the body perform its activity or how each unit that
composes the entire body respond to the inflow or outflow of another part. Psychologically, I can comfortably tell somebody about the total amount of rods comes that are
contained in my retina and which is for day and which is for night.
Why some people cling to traditional values in a modern society like one of the instance where the author describe a man who saw cobras as gods and consider what he sees
as snake bite blessing.
According to my goals, this is Africa. I need to be responsible to my health and in so doing these, I know that health is wealth. That is why I need to look at healing as
something only me and only me alone can make come true.
The land is that which only the wise survive. The book though shed more light on how people have found comfort. I am not considering the weight my body and what it could
come to be comfort. I come to know that I have a wonderful environment and that if I start using my little available resources and create a sound mind. I would be more
happier person and my idea of a perfect world be achieved.
I don’t have to fall sick to be reminded that I am in another environment. Nor do I need to steal to be able to meet my needs. At all times I should enjoy a sound mind, if
I think straight even under a fearful storm or intense heat.
3. What are the most important new ideas or concept you learned from the book?
As it is now how to cope with the situation, I found myself now is one of the new ideas of the book I have learned. Although words have failed me to describe the feeling
of freedom I now enjoy from the book but I know that I have gained a lot inside me.
I know that heart attacks do not just come from nowhere because start from within and then explode to what medicine call physical. To see the society or culture in more
positive way, rather than how to explore it for my personal benefit. The book has also taught me who view others and why they would reacts in a certain way. Again the
values I consider precious to me could just be another persons subjected opinion and vice visa.
4. Has this book challenge or change your thinking in any way?
Personally, I look at the point, I can explore in any article I read, but doesn’t mean that I have found all the ideas I need to relax completely. Total knowledge is not
absorb in a particular article. However, my perception about why things is shifting to the awareness side rather than things as they are and hoping that happiness has a
particular time, why orientation about happiness and state of higher awareness can be created by me and me alone. There’s no amount of stimulant I can take that can
increase my state of awareness and fulfillment.
5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with?
Not absolutely , but the tales are too much and not captivating.
6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?
The most helpful thing in this book is that more things about myself have been released and what to lookout for in the body and what to refer to a particular pain.
7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey?
The book unconditional life is trying to convey the message of self awareness, a combination of the environment and the actual state of healing. I asked myself this
question ‘what is actually the organ of senses’?. When I see a table, what is that part of me that conclude that it is a table?. The eyes do the computing and the mind do
the definition. If a doctor ask me to take analgesic what heals, the drug or the believe that the drop will heal me.
Please rate this book on the scale from 1 to 10. ten is good and one is poor.
1. How interesting was it to read? 6
2. How helpful were the content? 7
3. How easy was it to understand? 8

Your Sacred Self
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you?
The main ideas I found most important in this book are so enormous, but because of words limitation I will like to point some ideas that I know that any person that pick
up the book to read will have to share some of this ideas as well. I have read the book REAL MAGIC by the same author of this book, Dr Wayne W. Dyer, who is the same
author of the book YOUR SACRED SELF.
The main ideas in this book, can be said to be an extension of what the author wrote in is book Real Magi. I have learnt from this book that man as a being is so occupy
with so many things and to accomplish those things is of important to them. The things we are talking about here, probably have to do with those physical things that has
taking us away from our original quest as human beings. These thing are things as man we think will make life comfortable for us and in turn will have to chase after those
things. Even when some of these things are gotten, the quest for more keep coming to our mind. But if one really want to identify with the fact, some of the things we
strive for in this world are those things that are no meaningful to us as a spiritual being.
The book has stated it that we are from no-where to now-here. Now that we are here, what are we doing with the ‘here’ that we are. So the question to be asked is, why are
we now-here?. What are we doing here?. If this two question could get a correct answer depending on who is answering and how you choose to answer it, then you can set your
life on purpose, knowing fully well that, for some reason or the other we are now-here. In the book Real Magic. It was written and I believe that we should be purposeful
in whatever we do, because we are created for a purpose.
Another idea the book is trying to point out is that no matter your location, beliefs, and religion, we should recognize with the fact that whatever color of skin,
religion, location, we are the same before he that created the universe. The religion of this world has always taught us that God is love and if we know that God is love
and it is a spiritual being and according to the word, we are created in God’s image and likeness. Then we should extend love out here so that the world we be a better
place for us all to live.
To my understanding of what the author is trying to say in the book, that we can live our lives for others rather than to ourselves. Yes, this is true because if need to
accomplish that for which we are created for, we see ourselves serving others because we have recognize with the fact that we are here for a purpose. Doing this, will make
us free and I mean free indeed. Seeing ourselves as sacred means that we are holy and clean. We can only be free, if there is no guilt of whatsoever in our mind. The part
one talks about your life greatest challege, making decision to be free. We can be free if only we know what it takes to become human beings. In part two, it talks about
four key to higher awareness. When we make use of our five senses and our mind in the way that it should be, then we should not give room to doubt, when doubt comes ,
sometimes is given a spiritual message but we should be sensitive to interpret the doubt. The part three talks about transcending our ego identities, no matter your status
in the society in the world today, if you lack peace you are no where because all God want from man is peaceful heart. This brings us to the saying that vanity upon vanity
,is vanity. So why worry?. Part four is talking about working towards an egoless world that is the determination that the things can and shall find their way, that is to
say that everything is possible if one believe.
2. Can you relate the ideas or concept in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, beliefs, goal and values. Explain
I will like to relate some ideas in this book as it relate to my believes, relationships and goals. Each of us is a soul with body, rather a body with a soul. Soul can not
be measured or observed with the tools that we use to observe the material world. I am an invisible essence that proves the existence of God and the world. I also learnt
from the book, that I am not my name, meaning that I am not what I am in physical body , and it help to distinguish me from another being.
I am not my body, which implies that the body is something that I possess. I am the possess of the possessor of the body and the invisible forces behind the body, but not
the body itself. My body belong to God, so whatever I do to the body negatively defiles the body.
I am not my mind, this just implies the owner of the mind is God. I think thought with my mind, therefore, there are the thought and then there is the thinker of the
thought. The mind is seething with thought, the thought that should goes the one mind should be those thought that is pure and positive.
More is better- this is another idea that I will relate with my belief. The quest for riches, power, wealth and so on, has taking over the generation where we belong to.
Some pursue money and in turn endanger themselves, because when you pursue for more, you will lack peace, and where there is no peace in your heart because you want more
of what should chase after you if only you can free you self. When you chase for more, your spiritual life will also be affected.
Never go forward in a hurry- walk slowly, speak deliberately, never get emotional and never let people manipulate you. I always make use of my time , because I am not in a
hurry to get the deal done. I will always want to take my time to be sure of what I want . I also know that I am infinite.
My relationships- It is agree that the love energy between me and all of those in my immediate circle is very significant but it is not who I am. I am an individual soul
that is connected to the whole, but I am not the relationship to that whole. My identification with relationship provides me with great frustration because every time
there is a glitch in it, as there always will be, I will found myself worthless. I am eternal, that which is changeless. There is no failure in relationships, every person
who enters and exits my life does so in a mutual sharing of life divine lesson. Some have longer roles to play than others, but ultimately, I will return to my
relationship to the absolute. I do not have to judge myself in negative ways because of the nature of my relationships. I can learn from them all, knowing from my
observer’s position that I am the one observing it all.
3. What are the most important new ideas or concept you learned from the book?
I know that I am already whole and I need not chase after anything in order to be complete. When I know that this moment is my entire life, I am not focused on the past or
future moments and I replace the stress and tension that accompanied the striving lifestyle. With this release, I become more productive and peaceful than when I looked
behind or ahead of myself and did not allow my mind to rest in the still center of the present moment.
I am aware that I do not need to dominate anyone in order to be spiritual awake. My higher self want me to be at peace. I should not allow my ego to talk me into choosing
dominance rather than tolerance as our style of interacting with life. Making the change from dominance to tolerance require disciplining ego and listening to your sacred
self.
I need to work this day at my purest intension for the highest good of all.
4. Has this book challenge or change your thinking in any way?
Yes. It has not only challenge but also change my thinking. I now know that in pursuit of a sacred quest, I am suppose to live my life for others. All my life I want to be
somebody, now I am finally somebody. The greatest human quest is to know what one must do in order to become a human being.
5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with?
Not absolutely .
6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?
I found every part of the book helpful, because the chapters in the book integrate into each other that make it easy for my understanding of the book. It make me know that
if I want to be free, I will be that to make the decision.
7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey?
The book sacred self talks about you as sacred, in order to know it you must transcend the old belief system you’ve adopted. You are a divine being called to know your
sacred self by manifesting the keys to higher awareness. Your sacred self can triumph over your ego identities and the dominant force in your life.
Please rate this book on the scale from 1 to 10. ten is good and one is poor.

2. How helpful were the content? 9
3. How easy was it to understand? 8

Real Magic
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
1. What Ideas were personally most important to you in this book? Explain or discuss why they were important to you, using personal examples.
Well, before I start stating the ideas in the book and why the ideas I important to me, I have to congratulate the writer of this book for a job well done. When I first
saw the book, I thought it was one of those magical book that will want to hypnotize someone but it was the other way round. I was hypnotized in such a way the my whole
life was transformed from it originally believe in. Thank you Mr Micheal for giving me the opportunity to read a real magical book. A miracle book.
The magic I experience in the book is not the type of magic that you can experience in the physical world. The magic here in the book is real and you can experience it
when you operate in the spiritual. I have found almost every ideas in the book to be very helpful, but I just have to get myself limited to the ones I know I will like to
share here, well miracle have started already in my life because I have started using the ideas in the book already.
The main ideas in the book that I found most important are:
Enlightenment through suffering:
the idea is talking about why people ask the question, why me? So many including myself have ask the question some time In my life when things seems not to be working the
way I anticipate them, the question comes up “why me”? It happens when something happen to one and because one does not look at it in the spiritual and only act on the
physicality of such a problem, then you tend to ask the question, why me? We fail to forget that problems, disaster, occur in our lives in order for us to be able to
transcend it. When we keep focusing on a particular problem and why it has happen, instead of focus on how to overcome and transcend that suffering, the thought of such
problem is a problem itself. It reveal in this book that and I totally agree with what the writer said. If you continue to look at a problem as they are then real magic is
impossible. For GOD said, in everything give thanks, then why not look beyond that suffering and move ahead in life.
Enlightenment through outcome:
I have learnt from the part of creating an inner path within, that I have stop asking the question “why me”?. I have also learnt that things do not happen by accident,
that everything am experiencing is in some way necessary for me to be able ahead to the next level, rather than ask why me? I begin to ask “what is in this experience that
I can use in a beneficial way even if I don”t understand why it is happening right now?” When I am focused in mind on what I can learn from an experience, my mind can not
dwell on thought that will lead to my suffering, thought such as why me?. The shift in my mind allow me look at the outcome of an event or experience and what you can
learn from it. Instead of poor me approach, I shift to a learning approach.
Enlightenment through purpose:
Nothing is more likely to help a person overcome or endure troubles than the consciousness of having a task in life. That is, I need to live my life purposeful. Everything
in the universe has a purpose and that I am created into this world for a purpose. So whatever situation I found myself is setting me on purpose. I know that everything
exist for some reason as a part the perfect intelligence that is the universe. Each experience in my life Is absolutely necessary in order to have gotten me to the next
place. Living a purposeful life will make you be able to make you be on purpose.
When the student is ready:
As a student, one should stay open and willing to learn from everyone and anyone. Also as a student, I should be willing student. My readiness to grow and become my own
miracle worker. When I must have been a student and ready, I also should bear in mind that the teacher is everywhere, once am willing.
Believing in miracle and real magic:
There is what I know people have said over and over time, which is believing is seeing and not the other way round. When a man believe that he/she can turn a rock into
gold, definitely that will surely come to past. Christ said it, but ye shall know him, for he dwelled with me and shall be in me. If I know these, then why shouldn't I
believe that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
SEVEN BELIEFS FOR MANIFESTING REAL MAGIC
In the book, the writer was able to point out some ideas that will make a manifestation of real. I have study this beliefs and agree in totality with the ideas they
convey;
* There is an invisible but knowable life from within me.
* My thoughts are something that I can control and they originate with me.
* There are no limit- there is no limitation if I want to experience real magic. To the extent of what I can do or achieve, there are no limit to them.
* My life has a purpose- the universe that is my physical body is a multitude of system all functioning with amazing perfection and it too is an intelligent system. The
reason why am here on earth is for a purpose.
* I can overcome weakness by leaving them behind. I have to overcome weakness by coming out from my old defeating behavior and walk through the gate into a new way of
being.
* When I examine what I believe to be impossible, I can then change my beliefs. I should take an inventory of what it is that I believe can not happen in my life. I should
create an openness to the possibility rather than continuing to subscribe to impossibility.
* I can go beyond logic- there are other dimension of ideas that is very much a part of me.
BECOMING A SPIRITUAL BEING.
We are born into the world of nature, our second birth is into the world of spirit. I understand from this part that very few of us make use of the power of the mind. That
we believe it when we see it. It is not suppose to be that way, becoming a spirit being we need not allow the physicality to overthrow our spirituality. Miracles and real
magic can not be understood by the rational mind.
Our great teacher
Spiritual being have greatest impact on humanity . They do not limit themselves to the five sense in any way. All of the great teachers and doctrines including
Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Sufism and Confucianism have left us with a similar message . the message of go within, discover your invisible higher self, know
God as Love that is within you.
SPIRITUAL VERSUS NONSPIRITUAL BEINGS
I came to understand now that a spiritual being has a conscious awareness of both the physical and the invisible dimension. While the non-spiritual being is only aware of
the physical domain.
BECOMING A SPIRITUAL BEING
* I have to prove to myself that I am more than a five sensory being
* It will help me experience myself as a multi sensory being
* To get me acquainted with the reality of my invisible world
* To make contact with divine or spiritual guidance
* To connect with invisible dimension we call death
* To extend the sense of loving guidance in my life
* To find model and companion for my journey
* To learn new ways of relating to others
* To practice a life without a focus on control
* To demonstrate to yourself that I am not alone
* To be more peaceful with myself and the world
* To help my focus on purpose rather than outcome
* To rid myself of a preoccupation with valueless things
* To befriend and cultivate my intuition
CREATING A MIRACLE MIND SET.
In creating a miracle mind set , I need firstly look at the way am thinking and action with divine purpose. What I will change is the invisible reality that is uniquely
mine. Creating a miracle mind set is well understood with the fourteen keys available in chapter three. Being personally powerful in any situation become easy and natural
when I realign myself in this fashion. This is empowerment and it works in everything I do and with everyone I meet. Align myself to my soul, listen to those inner
pleading to be at ease and on purpose and I will shift my life over to being an authentically powerful person. I have also learnt from this book, that daily meditation is
an integral part of my daily life. The process of meditation is nothing more than quietly going within and discovering that higher component of myself.
When I commit myself to achieving my miracle mind set, I may find the fourteen suggestion which have no preferential order
* Reserve my judgment and disbelieve
* Create a real magic zone in my mind
* Affirm myself as a no limit person
* Develop a new mind set toward the concept of intuition
* Discover the secret that sits in the center and knows
* Learn to learn through knowing and trusting rather than doubting and fearing
* Affirm that my intention create my reality
* Experience surrender and satori
* Learn to act as if the life I visualize were already here
* Live according to my spiritual self first and my physical self second
* Study the paradox, I can never get enough of what I do not want, is true and totally agree with the statement.
* Ask nothing of anyone and practice unconditional acceptance
* Begin to develop authentic power for myself
* Practice daily meditation.
Once I have the inner way, the outer way will follow.
2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc? Please
use personal examples in your explanation.
Well I have to state here that the concept in the book have been a tremendous change in my ideas in relationship, beliefs, values and goals. There so many ideas in this
book that have change my ideas in so many ways and I have to say few, one of the idea is that man should live for purpose i.e every man should know that we are created to
this world for a purpose and to solve a particular problem. A doctor is there to solve the problem of medicine, teacher is there to solve the problem of learning, banker
is there to solve the problem of saving and investment, leader is there to see that the follower are well taking care of, and so many other people that are created to
solve different problem today in the world. If only we know our purpose here on earth and act accordingly to that \purpose then the world will be a peaceful place for
everybody. The minute we realize that we need live for purpose the we will start to experience real magic in our lives .
If we are talking about goals, the goals we need to set are those goals that should be purposeful, in turn affect the lives of people around us. If we talk about
relationship, my objectives is to develop myself as a spiritual being having human experience and develop a mind set that creates real magic in my life. I have to attempt
to eliminate the dichotomy between my invisible self and my physical self. Real magic in relationship means an absence of judgment of others. I need not define other with
my judgment. In relationship, I need to tolerate, love unconditional, accommodate and even not see myself as superior over others in other for me to have a real magic
relationship.
If we also want to look at the belief aspect of it, I will say that it has contributed immensely to my belief. I know that do unto others whatever you want them to do unto
you.
3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.
* The non spiritual being is motivated by achievement, performance and acquisitions. The spirit being is motivated by ethics, serenity and quality of life.
* The non spiritual being hates evil and is determine to eradicate that which he beliefs to be evil. The spiritual being knows that everything that he hates and fight
weaken him and all that he is for, all that he support empowers him.
* Stay on purpose in your activities, rather than focus on the ultimate reward. The wins and losses will still arrive, yet you will find yourself on automatic pilot . Stay
on purpose and you will find yourself automatically shifting to a spiritual focus in my life.
* To conduct myself on a spiritual plane, begin living one day at a time emphasizing ethics rather than rules.
* Develop a conviction in your heart that prosperity belong to me
* You can not change your IQ, it is fixed and it determines what you can and can not do in life.
4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?
The book REAL MAGIC has change the way I think and to be honest it has contributed a lot to my way of reasoning. Most importantly, I have come to realize and also affirm
it that whatever I want in life should be that which will be purposeful. That been spiritual is better off when you are in physical. It also have a change in the way
think, that I should not allow my physicality to over ride my spirituality. I have also read from the book that all religions preaches love and the love that GOD want from
us. But if only the world will allow the love of God in there heart and dwell I them ,the world will be a better place.
Prosperity is in the mind of every human, is also not the result in a street set of gimmicks and strategies, it is in the mind set of every individuals. Everybody has the
ability to manifest miracle if only the mind set is positioned.
5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?
There are no ideas in the book that I disagree with.
6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?
I found every chapter in the book helpful. Because the book dwell on every aspect of lifes. It talks about your personality, relationship, values, goals, prosperity and
most importantly ,you as a spiritual being.
7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey.
I can use my mind to manifest prosperity, if I find myself believing that I must always be the way I have always been, then am arguing against growth. You should spend
everyday in awe, in total, complete awe. Live my life with a purpose Always not see yourself to be right in any relationship, learn to be accommodating and tolerate.
I am a spirit being not a non-spirit. Miracle can happen if you are sensitive to it.

Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigiera
1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you.
I found every idea in the book to be important, but I have chosen the few ones because they are relevant to me as an individual. - Self -image. This book in chapter
one, makes me understand how people over the year and even presently have being attended by their self image. They want to see themselves as they are and not want to
believe that they can get out of such a situation only if they want their situation change. The self- image has to do things with limitation of oneself not seeing the
possibilities of doing those things they can do.
In chapter one, I understand, that for one to be a success, one need to programme him self / herself, as using the brain as an automatic guidance system. The human
servomechanism can either be success mechanism or a failure mechanism. - Imagine your way to success - It is said that people often feel and behave according to what they
imagine, by such imagination is ability to create image in our mind and give us and give us direction on what to imagine. - Turning stress to success - It is said that
relaxation helps us to create imagination .It is also believed that this is when servomechanism can work properly. We need to relax in order to be able to create image in
our mind that leads to success. - Goal also need to be set, that as a human being one of the way to success is the ability to plan and work towards goal that has been set.
- Using negative feedback to point towards success. There will be hurdles in setting goal and working towards the actualisation of those goals, never give up, use internal
guidance to kick in.
Chapter two. In this chapter, the main ideas are: - How to change habit of failure into success. Looking from chapter one, we saw some character that has said never,
but you to be who one really wants to be, you never say never. Also no matter what the circumstance is , one can create change in one's life if only one wants that change:
That is anything that has been learn can be re-evaluated and challenged. Anything that has been challenge can be relearned with new data to replace old data.
The CRAFT of reprogramming: Taking control of ones creative mechanism and reprogram it is a success mechanism; Change comes about through awareness of a negative
self-image. By challenging the bad habit using the CRAFT reprogramming. Cancel- Replace -Affirm- Focus- Train. False thought need to be cancel and replace with new ones
and affirm those new belief and focus one and the mind to accept it for a change.
Chapter Three. - FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT - IMAGINE YOUR WAY TO SUCCESS. Believing is seeing: What you see is what you know and what to believe. This chapter has a lot
to do with success; what ever can be imagined can be delivered. - Reflective Relearning. Mental practice, using our creative imagination to select positive images. Every
idea learned can be re-valuated and challenged. Every idea that has been re-valuated can be relearned with new. In this chapter, I will say that it has help me to
understand how I can fake it I make it . Believing is what I see and how to my creative imagination to select images.
2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc?
Please use personal examples in your explanation.
FREE YOURSELF FROM FALSE BELIEF. In this chapter, it has helped me to understand to what extent false belief can be destructive and also affect our creative
imagination. There are some things that were told by our parent when we are growing up. But when one has come up age, you begging to challenge those things as to whether
they are true or not. But all the same, the subconscious mind keeps on saying yes to them and they remain hidden to the conscious mind. False belief also hypnotized - I
will want agree with these to a larger extent because, sometimes in my community, we were told not to fetch water from the well at night. That belief hypnotized so many
until we found out that there is nothing to do it at all One should be very careful of what he /she tells their children as regard using words to qualify them and they
might want to believe that you have said it to them.
Chapter Five. This chapter talks about relaxation and its important to thought, health and a way of relearning. Relaxation can bring about creative ideas because these
are not consciously thought out. Relaxation can help one look into a problem and sees in his imagination the desire end result. Relaxation can also help reduce stress that
might lead to heart attack and that is why people in country like Nigeria have over the years develop heart problem because bad governance and the hope of what tomorrow
will tell. The step of relaxation in the book are pretty okay, but it might not be applied to other part of the world most important were there are still greedy and
selfish leaders. When one relax, the tendency of conceiving new idea as there and when you conceive new ideas you start to learn those idea by putting into test and
practice.
Chapter six. Well, I want to review this very chapter in away that suits my understanding as an African man. It is okay to relax, there is no doubt about that but, and
people will want to relax so as to be stress free. It is said in this chapter that when we are disturbed in feelings either emotionally or otherwise, our anger, hostility,
fear, insecurity this causes stress and worries. But the last chapter have discussed relaxation as the best way to forget our stress. It is not also good that fear should
erode someone. That no matter how little one can get relax, it should just look for a comfortable means of relaxation so as to be stress free without using any drugs. It
is noted that stress come as the way we handle situation when it comes.
Chapter Ten I found out in this chapter that the most effective means of helping one achieve success is when the person's personality is involved. The personality is
making sure that the person has seen his/herself in where they want to be. Having them graphicalise the picture of what success look to them by then we can now shape that
person towards that personality. I am of the school of thought that leader am not born but are made by achievements. We should as individual to create an impact in people
lives because we are created to solve someone's problems. Also we should not live someone else's expectation. We should not own individually and pursue our dreams.
Chapter 13 This is the last chapter in the book, will it has last key as to what a leader can use to live long and more years. It talks about Healthy self-image as it
add more year to one. If we place ourselves in the sort of goal situation where more life is needed that will receive more life. When we have a positive self-image that it
equal congevity, that is our behaviour towards ourselves and others. We can find our own best self, to be the best, we need to work it out using our servo-mechanism
rightly. A leader should have a self -esteem and we should often times write a description about ourselves and would be with adequate, healthy measure of self-esteem.
Negative thought should be allowed to erode myself-esteem
3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.
The ideas are many but I will like just to explain just one or two. Turning stress into success: I never knew that stress can be turned into success until I read this
book. I will want to use SEEDS. Turning stress to success, I have to view the situation, evaluate the problem that causes me stress, look at the kind of emotion I have
attached to it and my emotions to suit the situation, I should do what is necessary to confront the situation and also feel my self-esteem increasing as a result of my
action. EVERY YOU IS AN I Building charity into my personality is a matter of habit. Respect individuality - Remind yourself that he/she is unique individual child of God.
Consider the other person feeling - do unto others what you want them to do to you. Get Involved - In addition to your purely personal goals would have at least one
impersonal goal or cause, which I can identify myself with. Also that whatever one want to be can be achieve if the person can only use his subconscious mind to work with
conscious mind. There is a lot one can learn using is subconscious mind through thought that comes from it
4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?
Not really because what is in the book is still some of the thought i have but has contributed a little to help me the more. You do not say never. Also never let
youself down and always be optimistic
5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?
No idea in the book that i disagree with with, just that America things work and the probability of such things to work here is slim if only there is an enably
environment to make such things work
6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?
I found everything I read from the book helpful, because it share the experience of people that have use there creative thinking to change there world and those that
are unable to use there creative imagination very well. I also found it helpful to know that relaxation can help one think and make use of the power within that god has
given to every one. There is no magic that can come from any where to be successful but the magic that is in human through creative.
7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey
To develop a personal action plan for improving personal and professional life. Be more assertive with friends, family members and different co-workers. How to develop
self esteem and maintain a high self-esteem. Making use of the servomechanism in achieving greater success. How to use creative ideas in building your imagination
Eliminate stress and anxiety and replace it with positive action. Making use of subconscious mind with the conscious mind

Success Through Positive Mental Attitude
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigiera
1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you.
The main ideas in the book is talking about positive mental attitude, which has to do with characteristics symbolised by such words of faith, integrity, hope, optimism,
courage, initiative, generosity, tolerance, fact, kindness and good common sense, person with positive mental attitudes aims for high goals and constantly strive to
achieve them, keep my mind on the things I want and off these things I don't want, serve and love people, and how I can develop inspirational dissatisfaction, that is
rearrange my attitudes and converts failure into success. Those who try and maintained by those who keep trying with positive mental attitude achieve.
Chapter two I can change my world. I should identify myself with success image and delete those fears from me. Identifying with the right image that will inspire me to
make the right decision. I should have definiteness of purpose. Whatever I can conceive and believe my mind can achieve it. I can change my world and achieve anything
possible in life, if only I set high goal with the right PMA. To achieve those goals there should be a definite of purpose.
Clear the cobwebs from your thinking. The cobweb this chapter is talking about is those things that affect the thinking of an individual. We need to free ourselves from
mental attitude. Do not try to neglect the reason why you want to do anything; you must have aim in life and defining that aim as it might affect people positively or
negatively. I also found out from this chapter that when one is faced with a problem that involves misunderstandings with other persons you must start with yourself by way
of examining your own mental attitudes.
I also found out that necessity motivates a man with PMA to action with transgressing recognised inviolable standards. An honest man won't deceive cheat or steal because
of necessity. Honesty is inherent in PMA. It is also said that the mind is so powerful that you dare not to explore what you conceive from it. The brain is a wonderful
machine that one owns; it is also the mechanism through which the body works. And something more - To every trail there is something more to add or do so to achieve
success. When we fail, is not as if we did not just apply that thing that will make all we have done a success. Apply PMA to what we do make us go a long way in achieving
the ultimate success. With PMA you keep trying until you get that something that is needed to make it a success.
You've got a problem? - That's good - this is discussing on how we as individuals can turn our adversity in solution to our problem. Using PMA we can change our situation
or wherever we find ourselves. Every one has a problem but those with PMA turn their adversity into seed of equivalent or greater benefit. Learn to see - when we have a
problem or adversity we should learn to see beyond our problem, that is we should not our adversity to weigh us down for us not to look ahead. We should not work with what
we see alone but also consult others so as to get advices that will be worthwhile. Seeing is learned through association.
How to motivate yourself - reading book like this is a motivator, because while reading, we have read about success and failure, and the causes of both. I have everything
to gain and nothing to lose by trying; that is, success is maintained and achieved by those who keep trying. No matter the circumstances we should keep trying, because at
the end of every tunnel there is light. Do not give up because even when we try, we just need to add some thing more to achieve that we long want and we will be fulfilled
at the end. Has help to improve my thought.
It was in this book I read that sex affects our thought and it is as a result of NMA. There is little difference that makes power of sex being a virtue or a vice is mental
attitude. I also learn from the book that, one can get things done right if only we can apply / use the power, which is within us. This is a very great power that God has
deposited in every individual but some of us has failed to use our positive mental attitude to attain success. Doing things right will take a lot of thinking and thinking
with PMA. What I found helpful in the book.
2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc? Please
use personal examples in your explanation.
Well I will say I found every chapter helpful, but with the 17 success principles, I guess I will go a long way, if properly studied and apply to the world we live in. in
fact it can help change one world for better. The 17 success principles are :1.A positive mental attitude 2. Definiteness of purpose 3.Going the extra mile 4. Accurate
thinking 5. Self discipline 6. The mastermind 7. Applied faith 8. A pleasing personality 9. Personal initiative 10. Enthusiasm 11. Controlled attention 12. Teamwork 13.
Learning from defeat 14. Creative vision 15. Budgeting time and money 16. Maintaining sound physical and mental health 17. Using cosmic habit force (universal law).
The book has also helped me to identify with the fact that with God all things are possible. When I want look at the story of George. W. Campbell, how he once has a
negative mental attitude and because of the situation he found himself, was involve is borne indecent act that led him to prison, in there, he was able to see and he read
the bible and God made him see and he saw and became a transformed person that gain favour from every body while he was in the prison, he was notice and lifted up.
I also learn from the book that exemplification of true faith consists of acts of kindness and love for one's fellowmen, not mere formal prayers uttered by rote.
Furthermore, I learned from this book what virtues are that virtue is moral practice or action and it is also moral excellence. That virtue can come in seven forms, which
are - Prudence - the ability to govern and discipline one's self by the exercise of reason. Fortitude - strength of mind that enables a person to encounter danger or bear
pain or adversity with courage. It also the possession of the stamina essential to face that which repels or frightens one, or to put up with the hardships of a task
imposed. It implies triumph. Temperance - habitual moderation in the indulgence of the appetites and passion. Justice - the principle or ideal of just dealing or right
action, also conformity to this principles or ideal, integrity. Faith - trust in God, because he alone can do all things. Hope - the desire with expectation of obtaining
what is desired or belief that it is obtainable. Charity - the act of loving all men as brothers because they are sons of God. It stresses benevolence and goodwill in
giving and in the broad understanding of others with kind tolerance. Motivation is said to be the driving force that one see or read and propel you to do that which you
want to do. You must first be able to motivate yourself before you can motivate others. Say to yourself that I can do and then act.
3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.
Hope is the magic ingredient in motivating others and myself. With hope I can do all things and when there is life there is hope. We hope so as to achieve that which we
want in life. As a Christian but born into a Muslim home. I have come to realise that hope is keep your mind at breast of that which you want to achieve. I was not born
with a silver spoon but I have hope that some day I will overcome. This success with positive mental attitude is a book I came across that I have affect my thought and it
has even keep my hope alive. That has brought more light to what I ordinarily believed in. it is very important to note that this chapter is very important to me because
in the society where I belong you need to cater for yourself in as much as you are not part of the upper class. I was motivated the more with these book and I will say
that reading has made me understand why I need to apply PMA to whatever I do. Without positive mental attitude the hope we discussing am not be alive. Applying the
positive mental attitude will want to make me do the right thing as to keep my hope alive. I will want to consciously react to that which is desirable, believable and
attainable. I know I can with PMA ideas. Ø If a man is right, his world will be right. Ø Start from where you are so you can get to where you wanted to be. Ø There should
be no limitation to the thought of any individual. Ø Whatever you want to be you can be if only you want to be that you want to be.
4. Has this book challenged or changed your thinking in any way? If so, explain how?
The book has challenge my thinking and has also change the way I think. If everybody makes use of their positive mental attitude, then it means that man is suppose to live
upright because people that have succeed in life that were talked about in the book are the set of people that have make use of their positive mental attitude and has seen
result through thinking right and doing that they have thought of. I was also challenged because before now I do not take advantage of the number of minute I have a day
and to use 10% of it to put my world right. What the book has change about me again is setting my priorities first before you can set to do anything.
5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why
There are no ideas in the book i disagree with but I would not want to compare America with Nigeria. A lot of things work out easily out there and it could not work out
here. Like the student that won visa lottery said that real estate is a good business in America but is not like that in Nigeria. There so many other ideas in the that
ordinarily should work but because the environment in not condusive here. I have started working the ideas in the book.
6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?
I have found the 17 success principle helpful and that i think i a great way to the to if properly applied to everyday life and other activities.
7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey
The main idea the book is trying to convey is that every man is born great and that you can only be great if you make use of your positive mental attitude. So many have
had it all wrong because the make use of their Negative Mental attitude.
A. How intresting is the book to read? 8
B. How helpful was the content? 8
C. How easy was it to understand? 9

Giant Steps
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
1. Discuss main ideas that you found most important in this book and why they were important to you.
All the ideas in the book are important but there are some that I found most important and it will be discuss as in the course of assessing this book. I can not start
by picking at some ideas or the other but I know that I will cut across the whole idea that I found important to me as an individual.
Giant Steps: This is the title given to the book. After reading the book, I know that indeed there should be some steps in life that one will take that will be Giant
steps that will in no small measure help transform such an individuals. I learnt from the book that there steps which one need take in order overcome some circumstances
and issues in life.
At first, when I first saw the book GIANT STEPS, what came to my mind was a question that first stroke my imagination as regards the steps I need to take and how giant
such a step will be, considering my shape and size as an individual. I got to understand and know what the writer is trying to convey in the book. The steps are not
determine by size or shape but what you can do to improve your present circumstances and develop new way to relate to people around you, so that you can live a pain free
lifestyle. The journey through life is said not to be smooth, that is why we face different issues and circumstance in life. Life is actually with no definition except the
definition you give to it. The steps I have read from the book cut across every human endeavor, either at the work place, relationship, marriage, emotions and public
presentation.
The book started in section 1, with the topic: Dreams of Destiny and sub-headed it with decision and goal setting. Like every other books that I have read in this
level, I have learnt from the books that whatever you want to do here on earth, you must have definite of purpose and defining your priority. Yes, everybody dreams, but
how many convert there dreams to reality. Martin Luther King JR, once said that he has a dream and his dream came to past. So I believe that everybody came make there
dreams come through if only we can stay focused. Another example is Joseph in the Bible, he had a dream, but his dreams almost got him killed by his brothers but it came
to past, so we should not stop dreaming, but at the same time stay focused in actualizing those dreams of ours.
Section 2 of the book talks about How to Get What You Really Want. My underlined word in this part is WHAT YOU REALLY WANT, everybody has a want, but how many people
can go for what they really want in life. This section focuses on one of the things that bother me as a individual and in Africa. I know what I want, but the rich and the
powerful will never allow to attain what your desire is, but I concluded after reading this section, that I am not going to be limited with whatever they do. Well in
Nigeria, we have seen a lot of people with brilliant ideas but the so called people in authority will never consent to it, if you do not belong to their class. I know that
someday, all this will change in as much as so many people with the same view and all the IIGL student will stand up to face the truth about how true leadership should be
like and not the other way round.
In Section 3, I learnt that the power to create and the power to destroy lies with the belief we all have. There are some beliefs that is of negative impact but because
we are brought up with some such beliefs, we are not ready to correct or turn away from such. It is said that the mind maketh good of ill that maketh wretch or happy, rich
or poor. All this put together means that if you are born into the less privilege that you can not change that situation. These and so many other beliefs like that limit
ones way to success.
Section 4- I learnt from this section that I need not ask question for anything that happen because, for all that happen or occur has it own reason, rather than ask
question stay focused. At the same time, the kind of question that should be asked is the one that will ignite us in doing that we want in life.
Section 5- Get The Knack of Change: The author took a critical look at how habit and its effect on us. It was also proven with Neuro-Associates conditioning (NAC). I
was able to understand from this section that habit is either the best of servant or the worst of master. Meaning your habit can serve you and be appreciated or even make
you worst as a master.
Section 6- The Vocabulary of Success: This is another part in the book that I took my time to get to understand what the author mean by the use of the appropriate
vocabulary and metaphors. That, through the power of our words we can affect men and the entire nation. Adopting the use of new pattern of words can transform individual
emotionally, relationship wise, beliefs values and goals. The change in our metaphor will change the way we deal everything and everybody.
Section 7 – How To Use Your Action Signal; It was made understood in the book that, there can be no transformation of darkness into light and apathy into movement
without emotion. This statement I agree with in its entirety, because if not for emotion that Nelson Mandela has for his people, he wouldn’t have gone through what he went
through. Today he is celebrated all over Africa and the world at large. He was celebrated as an exceptional leader that we have in Africa and made history for himself and
the world to remember. Today he is reference to some of us because he stood up for is people when it matter and he took the Giant Step of his time. What can bring out the
leader in you is the emotion you attached to everything that you need do to alleviate the suffering of your followers. If you are not touched with the way people suffer,
then why do you think you want to lead your people. Leadership must be all about transformation and change in the social well being of the people that you want to lead. It
takes a leader with emotion to understand what it mean to provide shelter, medicine and food for its people.
Section 8- Take the Ten Day Mental Challenge: This section talks about a lot how we as individuals can challenge our metal attitude and putting whatever ideas conceive
into play. Knowing what to do is not enough, you must do what you know how do best. I also learnt from this section, that there are some core beliefs and strategies of
today’s leaders which is superior in evaluations that creates a superior life.
Section 9- Your Personal Compass-: Every human has a compass, but the question is how many can actually stay and abide with his/her compass. There are rules and values
in life, in Nigeria, a man value and rule even with the personality can be bought over easily with money. What this section is driving at, I believe is in the area of
trying to be objective and know what are values are so that people can see those values and appreciate with us what our values and rules are so that it will be respected
by everybody that came in contact with us. I also second the statement that nothing splendid has ever been achieve except by those who dared that something inside of them
was superior to circumstances.
Section 10-The Keys To Extended Life: There so few little question that I will like to use here in this section, though, the author did not but I just feel that the
question are necessary. What are our identity and references? Who do you think we are? Why are we created? Do I have a definite of purpose? If we are opportune, what do
you want to change in the world, so that the world will be a better place for us all. These are the question I think we should start asking ourselves as individuals. I
know that if we all do the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves. This is true.
Section 11- Putting It All Together: I have learnt from his book so many great thing that I will say that am so lucky to have read this book and even have the privilege
to do the assessment. From section one of this book, each section has its own impact and this impact is on health, finances, relations and code of conduct. After and
during the reading of the book, I have started putting all together.
Section 12 – The Ultimate Gift: Everybody has one gift or the other, but how many of us can really maximize those gift. This section made it clear and it was clear
enough to know that we as an individual will not just learn or read on how we can transform and change whatever we feel is not right, without not being a contributor to
such a change and transformation. We need to work with people in such to achieve the goals that we want from them. Life is said to be full of challenges and we live our
every new day with one challenge or the other. It will be wise not to learn only but to be a contributor. Only those who have learned the power of sincere and selfless
contribution experience life deepest joy and true fulfillment.
2. Can you relates the ideas or concept in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationship, your beliefs, your goal and values?
The ideas I have learnt from the book can not be limited such that I found every ideas in the book to be impactful as concerns every area of my life. The book have me
improve the way I relates to people around me concerning some certain issues that might arise in the cause of discussion with friends and people that I am working with in
volunteering work.
It has help change the way I think, as I now know that life really is meaningless, except the meaning we give to it. Giant Steps, I have also read from the book, how I
can delete some of the old attitude and replace it with the new one so as for me to be able appreciated for doing what is right at the right time. I also learnt on hoe to
take decision that will not affect other parties negatively.
I have learnt a great deal from this book and already taking the Giant Step in the area where it is need in my life.
Procrastination is very, very destructive, because you keep postponing the implementation of some particular ideas that you conceive into action.
I learnt from this book that I need to live my life in a way that cause my constantly feel immense amount of pleasure and very little amount of pain which now form my
new definition of success.
I also learnt from the book, that one of the marvels of being human is our ability to fill any event with uplifting or devastating significance. I should not take pain
in the past to decide what my today looks like.
I have also learnt on how to use Neuro- Association conditioning (NAC) in producing change in whatever am doing
How I can deal with adversity, shape our lives more than almost anything else. I learnt that as an achiever, I need to see problem as transitory.
The mind that maketh good of ill, that maketh wretch or happy, rich or poor:- This is true considering what our beliefs are. I can not say that since I am not born with
a silver spoon that I can not bear a generation that will feed on Gold spoon for the rest of their lives.
3. What are the most important new ideas or concept you learned from this book? Please explain.
Neuro-Association Contribution:- Know that if you can easily create a problem you can easily create a solution using NAC.
Action Signals:- Identifying a problem and looking for a solution to such a problem. Seeing the problems with the sign associated with it.
Life has no meaning except the meaning we give to it.
4. Has this book challenge or change your thinking in any way? If so explain.
Giant Step has help me as an individual to be able to see problem temporary and rather looking at pain in the past, try to look forward and stay focus.
I was challenge by when I read from the book that problem to be personal at all cost, I should begin to use problem as valuable feedback to help steer a straighter
course towards my destiny.
I also challenge me when I read that question are laser of human consciousness, that I should use their power to cut through any obstacle or change.
I also challenge that language usage constitute what shapes our experience of life, the words we attach to our experience become our experience.
Whatever result we are experiencing in our lives are the accumulation of a host of small decision we have as individuals, family, a community, a society and species.
5. Are there ideas in the book you totally disagree with?

Keys To Success
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
1. What Ideas were personally most important to you in this book? Do not simply list the ideas, but explain or discuss why they were important to you, using personal
examples.
The book is titled Key To Success, and in the book there seventeen (17) principle there in for people like me that want to be successful in life. It is said and I now
have a change in my believe that, of a truth there are hidden ideas in book, that is why one should form the habit of reading books that will empower them/us and not just
kind of gossip book that want to take look at fashion and things that are not relevant to the success of man.
I will like to state here, that in all the book that I have read, every ideas are relevant to me as a person and an individuals. This is one of the most practical book
that I have read in recent time. The seventeen principle that I will touch on later, are the essence of the action and attitudes of everyone who has ever had a lasting
accomplishment.
The book gives me guide and direction that are so simple and brilliant in implementing the ideas that I have newly conceive from the book.
The methods by which I can develop with them are stated clearly in the book and the practical insight into their influence into my life as Napoleon Hill laid them out.
DEFINITE OF PURPOSE
After reading the first chapter of the book with a heading develop definiteness of purpose I ask myself a simple question, where am I coming from and where am I going?
This question stoke me as I find it difficult to say per say that this is where I want to get to. I have read other book in this level that talks about definite of
purpose. I know that I am here on earth to meet the need of some person or the other and for that person to meet my needs as well. I want to state here, that having a
definite of purpose is not just what we are discussing in the book, rather taking a look at how the vision we have towards life can be achieve to its fullest. A man with a
vision is said to be a man with a mission, and when the man with a vision goes into the mission, he will have a mansion. The is a true word and I so much believe in this
that for everything we are doing we should do it because we have a reason for doing that which we want to do in life. For me, I want to at someday that I will able to feed
large numbers of people and put smile on there faces. I have also known that I can do all this because I know that there are people that I need to meet there need. I also
know as leader, I need to make sure that my follower are consulted before I set do anything at all.
When you have a definite of purpose you will able to make decision that will help you achieve your desired goals. It also develop confidence in your integrity and
character, which attracts favorable attention from others and inspires their cooperation toward you. It also help you as an individual to budget your time and money, which
that you have to cut out the frivolous spending on ill material things and also the time that you need to set aside so as for you to be able to conceiving new ideas to
nurse you goals in life.
ESTABLISH A MASTERMIND ALLIANCE
forming a mastermind alliance is a good thing in order to achieve one's definite purpose. As defined by Hill, " A mastermind alliance is built of two or more minds working
actively together in perfect harmony toward a common definite object." I can say that this principle truly started in the ancient days of Jesus Christ. He had twelve
people as his mastermind alliance.
Obviously, a person can't know all and even do all. He needs people that are ambitious to work together for a super ordinate goal.
ASSEMBLE AN ATTRACTIVE PERSONALITY.
Our personality is our greatest asset or greatest liability, for it embraces everything that we control: mind, body and soul. What we do is us. For us to achieve lasting
success, we must develop an attractive personality. We must possess PMA, tolerance, flexibility, sincerity of purpose, courtesy, promptness of decision, tact, tone of
voice, the habit of smiling, patience, and so on. We must master all these so as to attract what we want.
USE APPLIED FAITH.
Faith, I believe, is exercised with action. It is a state of mind through which your desires, aims, plans, and purposes may be translated into their physical or financial
equivalent. We must apply this faith, just as being advised by Hill. Faith without work is dead. We have faith when we act on what we decide and believe. This helps cast
out fear and disbelief.
GO THE EXTRA MILE.
"Render more and better service than you are paid for, and sooner or later you will receive compound interest from your investment. Do what you want to do and leave the
rest to God. It is inevitable that every seed of useful service you sow will sprout and reward you with an abundant harvest," advised Hill. This simply means you have to
go the extra mile to get worthy things done.
CREATE PERSONAL INITIATIVE.
Hill said “personal initiative is the inner power that starts all action." It is the power that inspires the completion of that which one begins. It motivates people to
start acting on the plans in ink or on board. It pushes people to start and do it now. It also brings advancement, attention, and opportunity.
BUILD A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE.
PMA is a vital ingredient of success. One must depend on it in everything he does. A lot has been written about PMA. it tops the list of success recipe. I love how
Napoleon described it in this book and in his other book-- success through PMA. He said “A positive mental attitude is the right, honest, constructive thought, action, or
reaction, to any person, situation, or set of circumstances that does not violate the laws of God or the right of one's fellow man." Isn't this great? I love it. It must
respect our creator and our fellow brothers and sisters. PMA builds on hope and overcomes the negative attitudes of despair and discouragement.
CONTROL YOUR ENTHSIASM.
To keep a flame burning we must add fuel. Enthusiasm fuels our will to act. It is the fuel that drives things forward. We need to control our enthusiasm. It stimulates our
subconscious.
ENFORCE SELF-DISCIPLINE.
Self-discipline is when you have to do a worthwhile thing even when it is not convenient. It will be difficult to achieve what we conceive if self-discipline is not in
place.
It enables us to develop control over ourselves. It begins with mastery of our thoughts, what we really are, what we really do. It is a means of directing our thoughts,
controlling our emotions and ordaining our destiny with PMA.
THINK ACCURATELY.
It is what we think that overwhelms us. We need to nurture ourselves with accurate thinking so as to achieve success. Hill said that our mind is like a piece of land.
Through diligent, planned work, it can be cultivated into a beautiful and productive garden, or it can be fallow, overrun by weeds sprouting from seed carried by passing
birds and wind.
All that we achieve are the result of our thoughts. As written by Hill, the accurate thinking is based on two types of reasoning: Induction and deduction. They work
together but they are different.
CONTROL YOUR ATTENTION.
This is the eleventh principle in this book. It talks about focusing our attention to one definite major purpose. Also, focusing all our resources, time money and mind etc
on this "one thing." We should be a man of one thing.
INSPIRE TEAM WORK
There is no musician that does all his music alone, plays the drum set, plays the guitar, sings, choruses - all alone. He needs teamwork to produce a good music.
It is of paramount importance that every leader inspires or encourages the heart of his workers. This will make them efficient and effective. With this, productivity
will boost. The cooperation of employees is needed to attain success in our field.
LEARN FROM ADVERSITY AND DEFEAT.
I consider defeat to be a stepping stone to where I want to get to. I also consider every setback as step back. When a sportsman that runs or does high jump wants to do it
he first step back so as do it well. So setback is a means of preparation. It is a means of learning what you must know in order to succeed.
CULTIVATE CREATIVE VISION.
Vision is the only thing that differentiates a person from his colleagues. Creative vision is a big picture that others cannot foresee that enhances the perception of
people and the entire world. The accomplishment of a creative vision is usually a significant contribution to the world. I believe that the ability to think is the
greatest gift of man. What can be conceived can be created?
MAINTAIN SOUND HEALTH.
If our health is not sound we may not be in a good position to pursue our passion. Sound health is very vital in life.
BUDGET YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
Time is money, money is time the say. We must harness the two towards our purpose. We must intelligently use them. Planning our time and money is the best way to spend
them.
USE COSMIC HABIT FORCE.
2. Can you relate the ideas or concepts in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values, etc?
Please use personal examples in your explanation.
Napoleon Hill said that our progress towards success begins with a fundamental question; where are you going? For anyone to get somewhere, he must leave somewhere.
Giving a detailed answer to this question would help a lot in getting where one plans to get to. Personally, the answer to this question is stuck in my heart and mind. I
think about it all the time. It is a focus that won't let go. It makes it become clearer to me everyday.
I have discovered that achieving success in life is not an event, but a process. It can't be accomplished in a day. It is a gradual thing. It is a one-by-one thing. It
is a day-by-day journey. I am now part of this process. I read these books. I learn the invaluable words in them. And more importantly, I apply and live them.
Hill's keys to success are a book that has set a good foundation for my success in life. I love every page of it. I share its words with people. It gives them a new
revelation about personal achievement in life. I love every page of it. I have already started applying its principles where i can for now. It says all about achievement.
Again, I apply it to my studies at school. And this is really helping me. I go the extra mile in my studies. I establish a mastermind alliance for courses I don't
understand. I also apply faith. My self discipline is awesome. In all, I budget my money and time very wisely. Though I don't have any source of income for now apart from
my parents but I still spend wisely the pocket money I receive each time I am going to school. I know that the way I handle my resources today determines how I handle them
tomorrow. God does not bless wasters. He blesses managers.
Principally, no matter what I do or follow, what helps me most is not when I 'try' or 'struggle' to do things I have to do but it is only possible when I trust the
divine power of God. And also when I surrender to it.
My last semester's exam's result was a big testimony. I stopped struggling to pass. I just applied some principles in one of the books and I trusted God for it to work.
It did. I have realized that when I struggle to do things I am only manifesting competition. I don't think God wants us to compete with each other. I believe when am
faithful to my part God will also be faithful to do his own part. This helps us to manifest anything.
3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you learned from this book? Please Explain.

* Going the extra mile
* Teamwork
* Use of comic habit force
* Maintain sound health

This book is helpful when you read it, learn it, and live it. Also, it is talking about how one can have personal achievement in life using your PMA. It also talk about
how one can relate with people without offending them and be respected. Thank you wherever you are now Napoleon Hill for your ever indelible wisdom.

Nonviolent Communication-A language of Life
Assessment by Balogun Yekinni Abidemi (Nigeria)
1. Discuss the main ideas that you found most important in this book and discuss why they were important to you.
Nonviolent Communication, haven't being a book that want to look at the language and how we make use of language either positive of negative, it help also to differentiate
from our needs to our wants respectively. It is also o book that was written to help interact with others using the appropriate language, in the book I have come to the
realization that some language can be destructive to another fellow without you understanding the magnitude of the language that you must have use.
I have found the following ideas most important to me as I read this book:
Giving from the heart
I would like to start off by saying that giving is something that one wants to do not to be compel to do. So Given from the heart in other words means that you just have
to freely without any itches.
As written by the author, NVC helps us connect with each other and ourselves in a way that allows our natural compassion to flourish. He says that NVC is a way of
communicating that leads us to give from the heart.
However, for us as individual to be able to give from the heart, we must be able to understand ourselves, in terms of what the other is feeling. Without understanding what
our feelings are regarding giving, we might not really understand why we want to give in the first place. NVC helps us to identify with the things so as for us to have a
clear understanding of one and another.
This idea of giving from the heart is important to me because I have learnt from it how to communicate with myself and others. I have also learnt from it that it helps me
know the important of giving. Like it is written, it is more blessed in giving than to receive. So I rather give so that I will be blessed.
- Communication that blocks compassion
It is true that when we communicate with others, we should not use our communication to judge others, for it is written that do not judge and you will not be judge
I have also learn from this part that language that are of blame, insults, put-down, labels are forms of judgement..
Marshall B, the author, says there are certain ways of communicating that alienate us from our natural state of compassion. He uses the term “life-alienating
communication” to refer to these forms of communication. These forms of communication contribute to our behaving violently toward each other and ourselves. One form of
these life-alienating communication is the use of moralistic judgments that infer wrongness or badness on the part of those who don't act in harmony with our values.
Another one is the use of comparisons, which also blocks compassion in our communication.
- Requesting that which would enrich life
This is a part of NVC that has to do with what we would like to request of others in order to enrich life for us. In this part, the author teaches us how to try to avoid
vague, abstract, or ambiguous phrasing, and also to use positive action language by sating what we are requesting rather than what we are not.
The ideal in thids part was for us as individual to get clearer understanding of what we want and make sure that it is communicated to another in a way that the person
will understand you. This idea truly helps me to be clearer about what I want and how to request it.
The author says the clearer we are about what we want back when we speak, the more likely we are to get it. This idea of requesting that which would enrich life teaches me
how to make request and not demands. I appreciate what the author says about the objective of NVC: “ NVC is not to change people and their behavior in order to get our
way; it is to establish relationships based on honesty and empathy that will eventually fulfill everyone's needs. We do this by helping others trust that we are
requesting, not demanding. What a valuable lesson.
- Receiving empathically
The author says that empathy is a respectful understanding of what others are experiencing. He also says that empathy is emptying the mind and listening with our whole
being. Empathy requires us to focus full attention on the other person's message. It also requires us to give to others the time and space they need to express themselves
feel and to feel understood. In relating with others, empathy occurs only when we have successfully shed all preconceived ideas and judgments about them.
This idea of receiving empathically has taught me how to stay with empathy and listening for the feelings and needs of others, allowing others the opportunity to fully
express themselves before I turn my attention to solutions or requests for relief. It has also given me empathy in order to give empathy. I learnt a great deal of advice
from this idea. The author says when we sense ourselves being defensive or unable to empathize, we need to stop, breathe, give ourselves empathy and scream nonviolently,
or take out.
-The power of empathy
I like the way Carl Rogers described the impact of empathy on its recipients: “ when…someone really hears you without passing judgment on you, without trying to take
responsibility for you, without trying to mold you, it feels damn good….when I have been listened to and when I have been heard, I am able to re-perceive my world in a new
way and go on. It is astonishing how elements that seem insoluble become soluble when someone listens. How confusions that seem irremediable turn into relatively clear
flowing streams when one is heard.” This is keenly the power of empathy.
This idea of the power of empathy teaches me how to stay vulnerable, defuse potential violence, help me hear the word 'no' without taking it as a rejection, revive a
lifeless conversation, and even hear the feelings and needs expressed through silence.
Expressing appreciation in nonviolent communication
It is always necessary to express appreciation to those who meet our needs in one way or the other. However, the author says that some appreciations could be expressed
violently. In confession, I was startled when I first saw this . I asked myself “could _expression of appreciation be violent?” As I read further, I learnt that some
appreciations are expressed to manipulate others and not to celebrate. I need to say here; only don't who don't know who they truly are manipulate people or better still
those who their spirit is blocked within them.
The author says that we use NVC to express appreciation only to celebrate, not to get something in return.
2. Can you relate the ideas in this book to your personal circumstances in life such as your relationships, your beliefs, your goals, your values etc? Explain.
The answer is absolute yes. We all communicate every time either with ourselves or with others. The way we communicate with others determine how peaceful or violent our
relationship would be. Also, we need to communicate our beliefs, we need to communicate our goals, we need to communicate our values. We need to communicate all these from
our heart. We don't just communicate our beliefs, goals, values; we communicate them compassionately i.e. without isolating our true self. Our true self, obviously, does
not want to communicate hurt and pain, our true self does not want to demand, judge, diagnose-to think and communicate in terms of what is right and wrong with people, our
true self does not want us to dwell or live in misunderstanding and frustration with others and our selves, our true self does not want violence. Our true self wants to
mutually enrich our lives in a way that does not isolate our true selves-spiritual beings. That is what nonviolent communication does for us.
3. What are the most important new ideas or concepts you earned from the book? Explain.
In answering this question, the most important new idea I earned from this book is the idea of expressing appreciation in nonviolent communication. It was totally new to
me. I never knew there were some ways we could express appreciation that could cause violence.
4. Has this book challenged your thinking in any way? If so, explain how.
Yes. The book NVC has change the way I think in so many ways. For example, I use to think that using some language is moral justifiable to keep some people in check, but
haven't read this book I found out that there are some moral judgment that we should not involve in. I have also be challenge in the way I think in the area of needs and
other feelings. In this book, you need identify what your feelings and needs are first in other for you to be able to fit it into your own way of communication with
another person, why do you consider your feelings and need, well I have been challenge that is because it enable you communicate better and know how you can be of help to
the other in term of communications that has to do with emotion.
It has also challenge me in the area of listening properly before you can say anything to anybody in the cause of conversation as a result of communication.
This book has truly challenged my thinking in every way of communication.
5. Are there ideas in the book that you totally disagree with? If so, why?
No.
6. What did you find most helpful and least helpful in this book?
I found the power of empathy most helpful in this book. When someone hears you without passing judgment on you, without trying to take responsibility for you, without
trying to mold you, I guess it make you feel good and really happy for sharing whatever that must have been bordering you for quite a while. You feel more okay, because as
result of our actions and reaction, we are still able to see someone to talk to with being judgmental about anything
7. In 50 words or less, please describe the main idea the whole book is trying to convey.
Marshall B. Rosenberg's book, Nonviolent Communication; A language of life, teaches us how to communicate with ourselves and others without creating hurt and pain. It
shows us how to enrich our lives by meeting our needs compassionately. It is also a book that enhances inner communic |
